Posted: 1/13/09 at 2:12pmWAT, I did the same thing! I was actually amazed. I watched hour 2 of Sunday's 24, and then started The B...I was finished by 10pm! Of course I ff'd over him saying goodbye to his kid and crap like that...

I think I'm one of the few people who absolutely LOVED last season of Idol (it was my favorite of all the seasons, actually), so yes, I shall be watching! :)
Granted I'm not thrilled about this new judge person, but... we shall see.
Idol is just one of those things for me- even if I'm not really loving the season, I still watch it. It would feel so wierd for me to NOT watch Idol. It's almost like a habit at this point. Tuesday night? Oh, Idol's on!

re: AMERICAN IDOL#30
Posted: 1/13/09 at 8:49pmSo far I like Emily the best (sang Barracuda), followed by Ariana (Put Your Records On).

I LOVE Emily Hughes!
Whenever Randy hides behind the papers I get hysterical too!I'd be doing the same thing!

I absolutely loved that guy who sang that weird Cactus Loving song and danced around with the bright orange shirt. He was hilarious and adorable.
I wanted to strangle the girl in the pink cowboy hat. I wanted impale her on her binder rings.
I was laughing hysterically when that one guy said he was scared of the judges and they started showing slow-motion clips of the judges through a bright yellow filter.

Stevie (At Last) was good.
Bikini Girl. I mean come on. Simon and Randy, really.

Randy's name is terribly appropriate, really.
I liked watching Ryan Seacrest's reaction to Bikini Girl. It's really telling that I can't even remember Bikini Girl's given name.

I died.
That Briana Quijada girl or whatever her name is... when she first walked into the room, her speaking voice sounded exactly like Sierra Bogess' Ariel the Little Mermaid. And... then she began to sing.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#39
Posted: 1/13/09 at 9:33pmYay for Emily! It takes some serious lungs to sing Barracuda!

Yeah, JG....she was great!
Ok this Deanna chick is on right now. I think she sounds pretty good. Lets see what the judges say.
Oh good, she's through.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#41
Posted: 1/13/09 at 9:35pmAnd she looks great too.

That androgynous boy with the eyebrows and the horror movies has a pretty good voice, but I feel like he's even more flash-in-the-pan than Sanjaya.
He looks a bit like that Jamie Campbell-Bowen who played Anthony in the Sweeney Todd film.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#44
Posted: 1/13/09 at 9:38pmI must be getting old. Some of these kids make me weepy.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#45
Posted: 1/13/09 at 9:39pmThe horror movie kid is going to be the next pretty boy that all the little girls fall in love with.

Schmerg are you talking about Horror Movie Boy?
He's kinda cute, and has a pretty good voice, but I agree. He's reminding me too much of like a Sanjaya or Danny Noriega.

That H&R Block commercial with the sloppy dude who keeps scratching his gut... I don't like it. At all.
Stockard-- Yes, I am! He's pretty, and he's got a nice voice, but you know he won't WIN. And... I completely forgot that Danny Noriega existed until you brought him up! My point exactly.

Posted: 1/13/09 at 9:46pmWhy do I like the closet-singing, mold-inhaling, country-naming falsetto dude? I should hate him. He's the kind of person I always hate. WHY do I like him? He's an obnoxious little nerd who makes unfunny jokes. But why do I like him?
