Posted: 4/1/09 at 3:06pmmadbrain - I'm not convinced Danny lacks a commercial upside nor that the producers lack faith in his prospective commercialism. I actually think his look and his voice will appeal to a broader demographic than Adam and I believe they saw his back story as simply icing on the cake. And let's not fool ourselves. It's not as if the best performer will be the one to win. Even if Adam wins, it doesn't necessarily mean he is the most commercial or marketable. Danny could still go on to be the next Clay Aiken and Adam could get stuck touring Wicked until he's 40. I'm not saying that would happen, but it's not as if it's unlikely or anything.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 3:11pmI think Danny has shown little range, and zero stage presence. His voice is nowhere near the quality of Aiken's. While I may agree that whatever appeal he has may be broader than Adam's, I don't see any spark there that will inspire people to download his music. Even now, people aren't talking about downloading his tracks, they're talking about Adam, Allison, and Kris.

We were talking about Adam at work today. He's already been offered a broadway show but he doesn't seem to want broadway, right? anyway, it's better if he doesn't win, as he really shouldn't have to be chained to AI for the next several years. He's already got it made. You can even see by looking at him that he's not the least bit nervous on the show. He's smooooooth and confident.
BTW-Danny's not the next AI, and I think Scott's hair looked kind of cute last night. Better than it did before. I think he should go tonight.

For some reason I am still interested in what Megan might be able to do with the right song.

Unfortunately, I don't think Scott will be gone after the judges ridiculous comments last night. Plus he has the sympathy factor.
Anoop had quite the 'tude last night. I wouldn't mind him going either but I have a feeling he's not going anywhere either.
I'm worried about Allison after the dialidol results and the fact that she has already been b3.

Far be it for me to say, because I have no idea what the eff the judges think, but I don't think they would use the save this early, even for Allison.
There were rumors about DC's brother but I'm guessing if he and his mom are there tonight, his brother is ok.
