School Board Members (in most communities) are elected. It often has little to do with ideas or education.

The superintendent cannot fire the man...as the superintendent answers TO the school board.

I am still hoping, however, that the superintendent gets enough email to have some sort of effect on this horrid hatred.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

The story doesn't seem to have moved out of the gay blogoshpere yet, but the number of 'likes' on the Facebook fire him page is growing.

If the only evidence is the original screen caps of his Facebook page, and absolutely no one will comment (after removing said page and scrubbing the school board page,) is there anywhere to really go with this?

The 6th comment on the Little Rock station's site coverage:

"looks like someone is trying to get rid of clint, could have been a hacker..."

That didn't take long. I have a feeling that's what will end up being the "official" response - although, so far, anyone that reporters have contacted have simply said, "No comment."
