I'm just loving this cycle!! Who's watching?
Jourdan is my favorite girl, I think she's the most gorgeous girl in the history of the show, but Nina is amazing as well. I never understood what they saw in Jianna.
Hate Marvin, he's beyond annoying. I really like Cory, but I think Phil is my favorite guy, although I would love to see him without body hair. Chris's looks are ok, but he really comes to life in his photographs.
Who are your favorites?

Jourdan is beyond annoying. She has the mentality of a 12 year old girl who happens to also be slow.
I miss Jeremy. I miss his eyes. And his everything.
Jeremy was nice to look at of course, but he really wasn't much of a model.

He was an awful model. But they should have kept him anyways.
Jeremy was an awful model? Mike was a horrible model! What was TyTy thinking?!?! I don't know if you guys were aware or not but Tyra found him working on an ice cream truck.
Jourdan is pretty, but there's nothing remarkable nor unique about her looks.
I thought Marvin started out very strong but he seems to be falling apart. He's got the bone structure, that's for sure.

I stopped watching after Cycle 11. Aside from adding men, how much has the show changed and evolved since Cycle 11?
The more I think about it, the more I think Jourdan might be retarded.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention the one who really is retarded. that ugly blond sniveling guy who cries all the time. I want him gone!!!!!!
Jane2, that's Rob. I saw him on the Metro in DC two weekends ago. He still had the blonde hair and was wearing the big black frame glasses he wore on the show. I recognized him right away.
Dottie, the one I'm talking about is Chris. I never disliked a contestant this much.
I quite like Chris and totally get his socially awkward side, Marvin needs to go
Meanwhile, Dottie, are we ready for tonight?
Jane2, my bad, I meant I saw Chris! Of course I'm ready for tonight. I'm polishing my tiara as we speak!
I hate everything about the new version of Top Model. The change in cast and format really destroyed everything that made the show fun and interesting to watch. I'm watching it, but with about the same amount of enthusiasm I have for Breaking Amish: Los Angeles, which is basically background noise while I do laundry. Kelly is probably the most annoying and useless judge this show has ever seen. The desperate desire to be so trendy with social media and iPads and flixels or whatever they're called has taken what little integrity the show had (which was on a slow decline since cycle 7) and turned it into second-rate MTV programming.
Phil is my favorite guy, although I would love to see him without body hair.
I thought he was the most attractive guy until his "makeover" and then they made him the least attractive. I was just glad they didn't touch his body hair which I find to be one of his best features. Too bad he's such an idiot with a crappy personality. Chris is beautiful, but something of a douchebag. I don't find Marvin attractive at all or really very model-y. Yes, he has pronounced bone structure in his face, but to me, his proportions are all wrong.
But what do I know? I'm not a judge and I used to watch this show to hear the judges' opinions. Now I get to see Youtube clips of enthusiastic twentysomethings give their "expert" opinions and help decide who goes home. And all through the erroneous and annoying liaison known as Brianboy. Ugh. Can you imagine if they did this for Top Chef and Project Runway? Double-ugh.
I've tried to root for the models, but I really just feel sorry for them since they have to put up with this awful format and the terrible new cast.
and another unfortunate fact is that after all they go through, none of them, especially the winner, ever actually becomes America's next top model. The show is a surefire way to kill any aspiring model's chances.
Marvin really needs to toughen up if he wants to do anything. His crying all throughout the first part of the episode was really annoying. Then his attack on Chris H was really immature.
I'm starting to like Chris H but he needs to work on his poses.
I haven't watched Top Model in a few years, but I remember when the models would practice more at home. Now all they do is bitch and complain about each other. Jiana would've gone a lot further if she spent time in front of the mirror.
I really miss Nigel and the Jays. Kelly is annoying.
I've been watching the UK and Australian Top Models which stick to the original format. So much better.
none of them, especially the winner, ever actually becomes America's next top model.
Well, that's true of many of these shows, but several non-winners have gone on to decent careers, modeling and otherwise, due to a jump-start from the show. They are all really competing for the prize package, but I don't think there is anyone left who truly believes the winner will be a widely-known supermodel or anything. And after Lisa accidentally won the All-Star Cycle, there is little faith that the winners are chosen for their modeling work any more.
The most interesting thing about this season was acknowledging Adrianne Curry as the first winner.
Plus the whole thing is a major set up, a couple of weeks back fan scores where low for one model, but they got scores of 9 and 10 from the judges for a photo that was rather plain. This no longer has anything to do with becoming a model.
Looks like Jourdan is beginning to show her true self... I'm loving all of the bitchiness between her and Rene tonight! I know editing has a lot to do with it, but it's still juicy as hell!
Watching Jordan's face when she didnt book any shows was awesome, that girl annoys the hell out of me.
I agree i hate the social media aspect of the show, mainly because i miss when the judges talk through the photos before the decision is made.
They should have gone back to the old format for this season as the guys in the show was enough of a change.
I dont like this format either. And I really dont care fot "brianboy".
I think the point that Tyra is trying to make with "Brianboy" and the social media stuff is that models need a good public image. I don't like how the show puts so much emphasis on it, but I think that's her reasoning.
My boyfriend and I were screaming at the TV during the eliminations. I'm glad Phil is (hopefully) gone and I'm glad to see Alexandra come back.
Anyone know which guy is returning?
"I think the point that Tyra is trying to make with "Brianboy" and the social media stuff is that models need a good public image."
Oh, I think it's because the show needs ratings and to keep current she's got to involve social media and the viewing audience just like so many other shows do. I don't think it's about the models needing a good public image, as much as to try to generate fans.
I literally jumped from my couch when I saw all of the models come back. That cliffhanger was plain ungodly!! I love Phil, he should've stayed instead of Marvin who has very little to offer aside from his bone structure, so I'm hoping he comes back. To bring either Mike or Jeremy back would be a travesty.
Chris had an amazing shot last night, I wish they would give him something for his acne.
And I'm tired of Rob completing Cory on his "masculinity." I'm I the only one that finds him homophobic?
