That would be a good opportunity for a lot of seamen/semen jokes. Preferably involving Matt Bomer. Minus the jokes. Minus the seamen.

And I have to say, a lot of folks here seem to like that Finn person, the guy with a real name like a Flintstones character? Anyway, I just think he's DREADFUL. There were REAL actors that were wasted on this season and he's giving interviews about not knowing if he'll be back for season five. NOBODY should be back for season five except Denis O'Hare and Patti LaBelle. Jesus Christ, pooooor Tina Turner Actress has this default where she channels, I dunno, Lady Chablis or something when she's not being given any guidance by her director and it's just sad, even if her three boobies were kinda great. Dump her and bring in Reba the Mail Lady for Spooky Boat.

See, we are going to have to agree to disagree on Anna Mae Nutbush, because I can't get enough of her in my life. She was on EW radio the other day and she has this affected voice like she's still doing Tina Turner and I love it. I also saw What Love To Do With It six times in the theater, so maybe i'm not the most objective person when it comes to th s subject.

Oh I know, the poor thing, gawdbless huh. She is locked in. She's like in Auto-Tina.

Fans are theorizing next season will have something to do with chemical experimentation on human guinea pigs. I say meh.

I'll join the chorus of people naming Asylum as their favorite. I really hated Coven but I thought Freak Show was an improvement. That's my bias showing, though, since I'm fascinated by sideshows. It did feel more coherent to me, though it would be hard to be less so than Coven. Coven felt like a jumble of characters thrown together as actors decided they wanted to return to the series.

As for Freak Show, it peaked with Jessica doing Gods and Monsters.
I know you. I know you. I know you.

The rumor is, next reason will take place in a Western ghost town. I've also heard it will take place in an orphanage.

"The rumor is, next reason will take place in a Western ghost town. I've also heard it will take place in an orphanage."

Isn't it funny the way normal humans arrange things in our brains to that they make sense but Ryan Murphy does not? I'm sure that it will be a Western ghost town with an orphanage for some reason.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: GHOST TOWN

Setting: 1890 OKLAHOMA. A small desert town ravaged by a plague that now is only home to vampires, Jodie Foster, Time Warner Cable and an aging Hollywood actress who came to the town hoping for one last shot at a return to the silver screen.

When last year ended I thought I'd probably watch this year.

Now I have no idea about next year. Jessica Lange would no longer be a draw for me.

Hard to believe a grown man can behave like a child when his offensive post gets deleted. What makes you think the rules don't apply to you?

At least you've learned to disguise your profanities enough to get by this time."

ghostlight, from now on, I'm only going to respond to your insane amount of PM's you send me publicly. Just letting you know. And my "offensive" post broke no rules. It was a joke that offended nobody here and was just a joke about an urban legend that's been around for 30 years. The only person who could be offended by it, is someone like you who would take offense to my saying that the sky is blue.

I would have said that I'd watch next season, but given that I didn't even bother to catch up with this season's finale, I'll probably pass. This show always ends up a massive disappointment, and it just doesn't feel worth it anymore.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Yeah, the breaks were really stupid this time. Also dumb was that the true finale happened with the death of Twisty.

And Twisty pissed me off more than anything else this season. It was the one character who had the potential to be truly scary but that was totally squandered. In the hands of a more competent creative team, that character could've been really terrifying but the writers of the show had absolutely no idea what to do with that since he didn't fit into the comedy (?) that they seem to be writing.

And the episode with the Twisty backstory was heartbreaking! It's as if the obviously heavy lifting the writers had to do for that episode was it for the season.

"I hope you don't expect me to do that every night."
