Rachlara- Last nights episode was kind of blah. The group auditions are never very good, as they are thrown together, and solo singers don't always make the best group folks. Plus, they kind of make up their own routines, which lends even more to the suckiness.
Yankeesfan - rumor has it Pickler made it through to the final 24. After that, we'll see I guess. I think her story/background is enough to get her the votes for final 12. Katharine and her are room mates, by the way.

The only one I HATE is the tan one that's really really pretty. So many of the girls were better than her and the only reason she made it is because she's hot...grrrr
My only prediction is that the next American Idol will be female. The guys are a bunch of marginally talented geeks.
I think this entire year SUCKS.. any of us could have won hands down. I think most of the girls made it cause of their looks and they are SO VERY talentless...barring the one girl whos mom is her vocal coach she has a passable voice but nothing I haven't heard before and the guys jesus christ a train wreck. To be honest I wouldn't even spend time downloading ANY of these peoples songs from what I heard so far... and that B**TH Brenna? The Ethnic Makaylia Gordin.. she is just an annoying *****....
Question?
Does Ayla Brown remind anyone of Broadway's Ashley Brown ("On the Record", "Beauty and the Beast")? I think they look quite similar, and when she sang Reflection on tonight's show, It popped into my head. Cousins maybe? Myabe not...I dunno.

I'm still a huge McPhee fan, as I think her voice is really exciting, she's pretty, and her image is perfect for this kind of thing. I must say, however, that last night on the show, her behavior was a little over the top. The cussing about her friend who didn't make it was a little much, too. I hope that doesn't affect her negatively. She should be careful about that. The votes come in for all kinds of reasons. She shouldn't give anyone a reason to not like her. Not that big a deal, but she strayed a little from the sweet, humble personality we've seen in previous show footage. Her performing still rocks, and I have no doubt that she will consitently bring the house down once the live performances start. I just hope she watches out for the bubbly wierdness.

I was in love with that little cowboy kid, the one who sang to turkeys. He was the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Not a "I want to do you" cute, more of a "I want my kid to be exactly like you". He was the best. I wish they didn't kick him off, even though he really couldn't sing, I would have bought his album.
But as for serious predictions, that Paris girl is fantastic, and I think the guy with the grey hair has alot of character, and a unique voice. His album would probably do well, just because he doesn't have the generic "good voice" that AI usually loves.
Yay, my Chris Daughtry made it to the final 24.
All in all, good choices this year, but that Brenna girl is already grating on me.
Go Chris!!

I like that Lisa Tucker girl who was in The Lion King. She has a good voice. A lot of the girls sound good this season.
Lisa!! Oh, I love her. I have friends who went to high school with her so I met her a couple of times and went to their choir shows. She's amazing, and also very sweet. That's why she's my favorite. It's exciting to see someone you know in this thing.

I'm really happy with the top 24...so far my favorites are Chris Daughtry, Taylor Hicks, Paris Bennett and Mandisa.
Paris was great just now on Idol, Mandisa was good too.
I liked the one that sang "Reflection," and Mandisa.
ps- This is the first episode of Idol I've ever watched.
I loved the first three black girls that sang, I don't remember their names. The one that sang "Midnight Train to Georgia," "Changing," and the very first performance of the evening.
I also thought the girl that sang "Reflection" was outstanding - best pure voice on the show.
And the last girl - that sang Barbra - was also outstanding.
I have never watched Idol before, but I am tonight, and I think I'm hooked haha.
I have a soft spot for Stevie Scott because I think she is adorable and she's a trained opera singer haha. I also really like Katharine McPhee!
I cannot STAND Heather Cox, she's really gorgeous but she was putting an "H" in front of every word that began with "E" and "I" which is me BIGGEST PET PEEVE EVER. So oh goodness, no.
I liked Katharine Mcphee, Paris Bennett, Lisa Tucker, and Ayla Brown best tonight.
I think the two younger girls, Lisa, 16, and Pairs who's 17.
Mandisa, Paris and Katharine are my girls! As much as I love Mandisa and Paris, I have to say that Katharine's "Since I Fell For You" was absolute perfection, loved it. Yay for those 3 =)
