Yeah, they captioned Bucky's wife in the audience last night.
It was definitely Lisa's time to go, and Katherine's snotty, albeit talented, ass needed a wakeup call. However, I would have cheered if Ace left. He needs to go next week, as I doubt Bucky will be going anywhere.

Why do I feel like the producers put Katharine in the bottom 2 last night for the reaction they knew that would get. If they put Bucky up (who should be in the bottom 2)people would be like..yea that makes sense...no surprises. They need to give the competion an edge. Next week..Country...Bucky & Kellie should be happy about that.

If the show is legit, the producers don't "put" people in the bottom three. Supposedly, Katharine got the second fewest votes last week.
Unfortunately, many viewers go out of their way to vote for the pathetic underdogs, rather than those who are obviously talented. I mean, does anyone actually think Bucky is more talented than Katharine?

One thing to keep in mind is that we just know that Ace and Katharine were in the bottom 3. Ace getting sent back to the couch first does not necessarily mean he got more votes than Katharine unless they explicitly stated that. It could very well be that Katharine was third-lowest and Ace second-lowest but they decided to keep Katharine up there because it would be more dramatic (remember, this was Katharine's first time in the bottom 3; Ace has already been there).
As for Bucky not being in the bottom 3 yet, every year there's a contestant who lasts longer than a lot of people think they should. Last year, that was fifth-place finisher Scott Savol, who still got votes even after TheSmokingGun revealed that he had gotten into trouble with the law for a violent argument with his child's mother. The year before, it was Jasmine Trias, who placed third more out of Hawaiian pride than actual talent. Season 2, there was Josh Gracin, whose 4th place finish was almost certainly due to it being 2003 and him being a Marine. And if you've never heard of Nikki McKibbin from Season 1, consider yourself lucky.

votefortheworst.com has one goal. To keep in the bad contestants. Their power is questionable, but I do think they are the reason Scott stayed as long as he did.

Am I the only one who thinks it is pointless to have "judges" on the show. They don't really have control over the outcome. Everything they say...even if it is true just gets "booed" by the audience. I'm not a fan of them being on...the pointless bickering between them is just not worth watching.
Also, the only reason Ace is still on the show is because he is attractive. He at one point may have had a good song in him...but he has been failing as of late. He probably has one more good week left in him.

Katharine very much deserved to be in the bottom three, as well as the bottom two. Her head is getting way to big. She s really not that great.
I'm unsure of why Bucky is still in the compition, the same goes for Kellie. Both contestants should be out of the competition, and neither will win.
I believe that it is Chris's competition to loose. He is just fantastic! He has a great voice, and has the most charisma st succeed in "the biz".
My personal favorite is Mandisa(<<<<<<<<) She has so much power! I get goosebumps when she sings....she is great! I think she will finish high as well.

I never thought the voting was legit and it has nothing to do with this season alone. Who monitors the votes and makes sure they're accurately reported? I don't know, it seems like it's always four guys and four girls left at the end, then two and two, no? And no one can make me believe that Ruben really won over Clay last year. I think the producers manipulate the show wherever they can, for ratings. Just like with every other unreality show.

Oh Contraire, Dawn. At this point the judges should be there to give constructive criticism. But don't believe for one minute that they're not there to influence and sway the votes. They are, and they do.

Kellie Pickler needs to GO FAR AWAY. Ergh, I can't stand her at all. I don't understand why Bucky is still around. Ace is Constantine from last season, but [as we learned Tuesday] with a scar. He's so obnoxious, but I think that he looks like Jesus.
Katherine McPhee is beautiful, but I don't hear anything remarkable in her voice that I haven't heard in past seasons. She reminds me of Kelly Clarkson when she was on American Idol.
Hopefully Mandisa won't do gospel again. Chris will go far and so will Taylor Hicks.
I adore Paris but I don't know who I think should win. I'm thinking it might be Chris.
Aside from Kellie Pickler, the other person I really want to go is PAULA. She provides NOTHING. She doesn't give any good criticism, and just argues with Simon. I see her as the annoying, tag-along little sister.

Katherine's problem is she's stiff. She doesn't shine on stage. She has a nice voice but she seems like an obnoxious b*tch. She knows she's beautiful and talented and I think people are just plain sick of her. She isn't a good sport and NEITHER are her family members... they virtually BOOed Bucky out of his seat when katherine went to the bottom 3. She deserved to be in the bottom 2 because she DID copy the Christina cd to a T. There's nothing special in that. I think either she or ace will go next week because it's country...bucky/kellie's top genre.
