If I knew the people voting for this show had taste, I'd say Katharine might as while start celebrating now, but clearly the results in the past have proven that the seizure-prone wedding singer actually has a chance at winning.

I think Simon's over-praising of Kat's "Over the Rainbow" made just enough difference to keep her in the competition.
They clearly wanted a male-female final. They just assumed it would be Chris and Kat.

I'm so glad it's Taylor and Kat in the finale and Elliott is finally gone. Taylor's got it in the bag though which sucks cuz I want Kat to win =)

I thought the conspiracy was for Chris to win?

I really wish the producers would get their conspiracies straightened out because, really, the way they do it now it just comes off like they're going with whatever the vote says which is obviously not the case.

I don't think there's a conspiracy or that the show is rigged. I just think that the voting process is flawed and the taste of America's voting public is all up their ass.

I actually cried watching Elliot's hometown footage....I'm a sap, I know. I'll be buying his album (along with Taylor's). Yea for Elliot...he's a good guy, and deserves huge success in his future.

After seeing Kat's mom's behavior, is there any reason you don't understand why she's the way she is? I bet if you looked up "stage mom," there'd be a pic of Mama McPhee there telling you how great her daughter was. Kat's been programmed to be a pod by her mom!!!!
But that being said, will the Elliot fans join up with the Soul Patrol and vote for a guy that a lot of hardcore Elliot fans have not liked pretty much from the get go? Or will the Elliot fans come down with a temporary case of McPhever and vote for Kat just to keep Taylor from winning?
*EDIT* One thing you have to say about Taylor though: he certainly is a lightening rod of you either love him or hate him.
