I don't think there's a single thing about Blake's performance last night that I woul dhave changed. He was flawless and the song sounded great! He was really the only one that grabbed me.
the only other thing I remember about last night is the creepy dark circles under phil's eyes and how he looked like he was going to takeout a gun and shoot someone and Haley's dress. I LOVED that dress.

Posted: 4/4/07 at 3:08pmIt's definitely at least partially a performance competition. I mean, how would Taylor Hicks have EVER won if it weren't at least partially a performance competition?

Posted: 4/4/07 at 6:19pmJust read that Tony Bennett won't be appearing or performing on tonight's results show. He has a cold. The producers are scrambling to get Michael Buble to fill in on very short notice. Too bad. I was looking forward to Tony. But Buble would be a good replacement.

Posted: 4/4/07 at 7:06pmI like Chris. Compared to Sanjaya and Haley.....really. M Doolittle should be recording now, but her "Am I really good" attitude is grating on my nerves. Lakeisha (sp)is in my opinion much better and less generic than Mandisha from last season. I think the talent this season is 100 times better than what Taylor Hicks will ever do.

Posted: 4/4/07 at 7:11pmI must say I loved last nights theme, Blake, Hayle, Melinda, Lakisha, and the girl that reminds me of Pat Benetar are my favorite, I loved when she sang smile last night!!!

^ Gina.
My mom voted for Chris last night - usually she's a Phil fan and votes for him all the time... but last night we both agreed that his performance wasn't so stellar. If you're 'singing to your wife' wouldn't you show a little more passion and emotion?

Posted: 4/4/07 at 8:01pmI thought Lakisha sang flat through the first half of her song, and had she listened to Mr. Bennett, she would have stuck to the melody and not have gone flat. Melinda is the only one who consistently turns in a flawless performance, week after week. She and Blake are favorites of mine. Except for Sanjaya, it is a better show this year, overall, than last year, imo.

This is a wonderful example of the idiocy of people in general. What, is she too humble for you? Or does the fact that she's shy and humble lead you to believe that it's some sort of act?

Posted: 4/4/07 at 8:46pmWhy waste our time with a Michael Buble performance when they have the biggest star in America on the show already! Let Sanjaya sing in Tony's place! San-jay-a!!!

Posted: 4/4/07 at 9:34pmI'm not going to lie. I cried. And she wasn't even a favorite. It was just the song and the fact everyone else was crying. She shouldn't have gone though.

^ It's okay, darlin', I was crying too for pretty much the same reason.

Posted: 4/4/07 at 9:53pmI cried and she wasn't my favorite either. But she was crying so bad and the song was just so perfect for that moment. I was a touching moment. I enjoyed her though and there are a number of people that should have gone before her such as Hayley, Phil and SANJAYA. It's getting annoying now. When they put him in a group with Blake and Chris I couldn't believe it. Sanjaya needs to go. now.

Gina wasn't that bad.
Sanjaya needs to go. This is ridiculous.

Posted: 4/4/07 at 10:01pmRyan should have said that LaKisha, Jordin, and Melinda were the bottom 3 and then left it that way for a commercial. And then been like Psyche! It's Phil's group.

Posted: 4/4/07 at 10:03pmThat would've been funny, shootinstr, but anyone in their right mind knows those girls were top three. We're getting down to the wire now. What is it with all these people leaving before the people that REALLY should go are gone? I hate that pattern.
