mateo, I agree with you about Sabrina. Still a little disappointed in that.

So we are down to nine. I predict the final four as Blake, Melinda, Jordin, and (unfortunately) Sanjaya. After that, it's a tough call. But please, for the love of all things holy, Mr. Malakar, no more pony hawks.

Did Tony Bennett sing some song about fncking girls? That'll be the one.

Honestly, I was hoping for a three-fer this week. When they had the three bottoms I was hoping Ryan was going to say, "We are going to save America two weeks and just let all three of you go home right now. Goodnight!"

I haven't watched AI much since Season 2, but I'm stangely enthralled with this season, probably because of Sanjaya.

Some of my thoughts:

1) I don't get why people think Blake is all that great. I thought his performance last night was okay at the very best.

2) But then all the guys this season pretty much suck.

3) I thought that Lakisha, Jordan and especially Melinda were immensely entertaining. They are all three great.

4) Phil Stacey annoys me so much its not even funny. I really hope he leaves soon.

5) If Sanjaya makes it to the top 4 or top 3 or even the top 2, it would be absolutely hillarious. It would be so much fun watching the calamity surrounding it.

6) I'm glad Chris Sligh got voted off this week. I know that this should have no reason for my opinion and he may be a great guy and everything, but after I learned he went to Bob Jones University, one of the most racist, if not THE most racist, and heavily fundamentalist colleges in the nation, my opinion of him changed.

I agree, Blake was off his game two nights ago.

I have to be honest... I was never a fan of Chris Sligh. Funny guy, but I thought he was one of the weaker vocalists in the finals. Did he deserve to get voted off before Sanjaya? Hell NO (!!!), but I'm not that upset to see him leave.

I couldn't stand Chris Sligh's personality or his vocals. No great loss for me.

The situation with Sanjaya has gotten so absurd I don't even care anymore. I'm kind of interested to see how far he will go in the competition just coasting by on popularity (if that's what we are calling it).

Its getting out of hand.

Jordin, Lakisha, Melinda and Blake is my personal favorites.
Chris leaving was a bit shocking, but eh, not much.

He'll probably stick around longer. The more this goes on, the more people who don't normally watch AI or vote will find it amusing and start voting for him. I don't really think it has to do with him having an actual fan base that admires his talent.

The only 3 people I would really miss if they were voted off is Melinda, Lakisha and Sanjaya. Melinda and Lakisha for their talent and Sanjaya for sheer entertainment value. It wouldn't be the same show without any one of the above three.

Hate him. He just creeps me out. Simon just said his performance had all the joy of singing in a funeral parlor. That's it! He hit the nail on the head! He reminds me of an undertaker in a B horror movie.

If, Melinda wins (and she should), I would actaully buy her CD. I love her.


And I'm not a big fan of Chris Stacey. He's not a bad singer, but I think he is underwhelming.

I really think Phil's voice is quite ordinary. And his look is completely creepy. I really want him to go home this week.
