Oh, come on!! Let's keep Sanjy. When he's not a trainwreck the kid's got a sweet little voice...and when he IS a trainwreck, he's a BLAST!!

Get KiKi & Skanky Scarnato off.

It was funny until they kicked off Gina.
Honestly, If he makes it into the top four
The producers will kick him off.

True--Gina shouldnt have gone just yet--but they should've gotten rid of Haley, Phil or Richardson instead.

But LOTS of good people went before Gina--offhand, AJ Tabaldo, Leslie Hunt, Sabrina Sloan...

It's not Sanjy's fault.

I'm hoping it's a Melinda/Sanjy final. That would blow my effing mind (in a good way!)

Your right.

But all the votes coming in for Sanjaya are for people trying to upset the competition. Their trying to get the Worst To Win.

Websites like http://votefortheworst.com try to get the worst to win and now the combo of them and Howard Stern have gotten this boy further than he should have gone. True, in his intital audition he wasn't bad, but whatever happened is uncontrolable. He should go home.

I think Haylie the hoochie mama needs to go.

Simon was right on with her - she isn't as good as the other singers (as in Melinda, Lakisha, Blake, and Jordin) and now her only means of getting votes is by wearing the least amount of clothing as possible.

Seriously, I love how in the beginning, when she first auditioned, she had on a really nice outfit. As the competetion has progressed, the clothes become less and less.

However, out of all eight last night, I think Blake was definitely the best. Love his voice, love his style. American Idol

I think either Haylie or Phil should go home. Of course I also want Sanjaya to go home.

I agree with you, Perfectly Marvelous, her only source of votes are because of her clothes becoming less and less visible.

Well, since Antonella left, SOMEONE had to fill the "hot girl" void.

That was my thought after Simon made his comments.

Leslie Hunt? I didn't think she was "good" by any stretch of the imagination.

Sanjaya is the most searched person on Yahoo, apparently.

The reason Gina went home before Hayley is that she had the least likable personality. We can call it a singing competition until we are blue in the face but you have to have a likable personality as well.

Gina ofter came off as an entitled bitch, especially during Hollywood week and semi-finals.

I caught her interview with Fox 5 morning news yesterday here in NY. The nicest way I can describe her is charm free, and a lousy interview to boot.

I didn't consider her dismissal from the competition any great lose.

"I didn't consider her dismissal from the competition any great lose"

It wasn't that big of a loss.
But I'm just saying:
Gina could sing.
Sanjaya can't.

Really, other than Blake and Melinda, the entire group is dismal and forgettable. Any of them could go any week and it really won't matter. What an unremarkable group of performers. At least Hayley's legs are memorable, unlike anything Phil, Chris or Lakisha have done on that stage.

Last night I voted for Melinda, Jordin, and Blake. Blake has bored me lately but last night was great. Melinda was wonderful, and Jordin was GOOD, not great, but I think she's the best all-around candidate for the title.

Ok first AI wont just go if he wins. Seriously, do you KNOW how profitable this show is in the end? They will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Second, yesterday SUCKED. The only people that didn't make me want to turn it off were Blake and (GASP!) Sanjaya. He wasn't awful last night. Everyone else was just so blah.

Exactly. Last night, Sanjaya wasn't the worst. So there, Trekkie!!

I seriously doubt Sanjaya is going to bring down AI.

I said it would HELP bring it down. Is anybody going to pay $20 for a Sanjaya CD? Or much less $100 for concert tickets?
