So how about those judges, eh? Harsh. I mean Paula is sweet, Randy is so-so, but Simon, he is the fun one. He's so mean, it's funny. And what's up with him and Ryan? They need to kiss and make out. I mean up. For Ryan's sake. Speaking of Ryan, he is short. Not only is he short, he's tiny. They need a new host that isn't dwarfed by every single contestant. Someone like Shaq. Or Hugh Jackman. Or my brother. I mean Ryan is just little. Hm, maybe he and Simon can trade jobs and Ryan can judge and sit at a table looking normal sized and Simon can yell at the contestants while standing right next to them, that could be fun. So you know what I'm excited about? The week Jon Bon Jovi helps. If that man walked into the room right now and asked me to marry him, I would. I think he is amazing. I also think Blake Lewis is amazing. He may not win, but he won my heart. Ha. That was corny. Corn Nuggets are good. You should all try some. Okay, back on track. I also like Phil. His bald head reminds me of Chris Daughtry. I wonder if that's what he was going for? I hope next week is better. And maybe Sundance will get kicked off. That would be nice. My theory is that if you haven't gotten any better since the audition, why are you still on the freaking show?

So are we through fighting yet?

That Antonella is one classy lady! I seriously would like to know why she is still around with all of these pictures coming out. Frenchie was kicked off for MUCH less in season two, she just posed topless. She did not pose in a wet t-shirt on a WWII memorial or allow herself to be photographed performing oral sex.

I agree with you, and I'm not even passing judgement on the pictures themselves or the activities she's allegedly purported to be performing. I just wonder if there's a double standard at play here.

I did read something that stated that it's a different case because Frenchie posed for a website that paid her while the pictures Antonella took weren't taken under those same circumstances. I suppose I could sort of see that, but it does reek of a double-standard to me.

Exactly. I'm not really judging her, though I do think it was utterly tasteless to take half naked photos on a WWII memorial, but if they're not going to kick her off for it they need to AT LEAST acknowledge the issue and explain their reasoning.

Edited to clarify: The argument that Frenchie was paid for her 'modeling' and Antonella was not is perfectly fine, but if they want to make it I think a statement of some sort should be released. Updated On: 2/26/07 at 01:04 PM

This is why I could never go on American Idol. Well, that and the fact that I'm too old.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with the show. If she stays, let that be a lesson to all skinny white girls and chunky black girls everywhere.

I'm fully willing to believe that the pictures were taken during drunken partying and she may or may not have recalled the extent of them, as well as that she trusted her friends not to immediately leak them as soon as she got on the show. I wonder if she disclosed, though? Didn't they also say that Frenchie failed to disclose her past activities and that factored into the decision to boot her? I guess if Antonella was up front and said, "Hey, I have some drunken, slutty pictures floating around, watch out for those!" they may cite that as a valid reason for keeping her around.

Not that I don't think she'll get voted off soon enough anyway, because . . .bleh.

I love Blake. He's my favorite guy and I thought he was great tonight. Chris was too.

I really don't like Sundance at all. Sanjaya needs to go home this week. It will be a travesty if he's around another week.
