re: American Idol this Week

Jane I don't think it was Elliot's best performance, but considering he just lost his mom; I think he did an amazing job. I can't remember, but I think you asked why David Cook was so emotional this week and someone said it was because his brother has brain cancer; his brother got special permission to travel and was in the audience last night. I think a doctor and a nurse had to travel with him; so he must be really bad off.

It's about time Kristy was gone. What song predictions do you have for next week? I think david Cook might do Superstar.

re: American Idol this Week

Thanks Sesot. How do you guys know all this info?

Anyway, I was surprised Kristy went before the other two ladies.

re: American Idol this Week

Apparently I REALLY think she should have gone.

David Cook turned Always Be My Baby into a sexy stalker fest, didn't he? Sorry... Didn't get to comment last night.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

re: American Idol this Week

Ryan said that Elliot lost his mom on the show, and I heard about David Cook on E news.

I thought Brooke was going to be the one leaving, but was happy it was Kristy. We already heard her butcher one Broadway tune, no need to suffer through that again next week. Next week should be interesting. In the past Broadway week has been awful. I wonder what song(s) they will pick for the group number.

re: American Idol this Week

I am sure one of the girls will attempt Memory, think David Cook should take on Superstar, someone might try Love Changes Everything. Do you think anyone will try music of the night?

"Do you think anyone will try music of the night?"

Let's hope not!

Carly seems like the one to choose "Memory".

re: American Idol this Week

I agree that Carly will go for Memory. Will Brooke try I Don't Know How To Love Him? Will David Cook try to create an alternate version of Music Of The Night? Would ALW go for it? If Archuleta sings Any Dream Will Do, I'll puke.

Boo! Kristy is gone. I would have much preferred Syesha or Brooke to get the boot. Oh well, on we go ...

re: American Idol this Week

I would rather Brooke or Carly was gone, but they're all pretty boring, except David C and Jason.
#323

re: American Idol this Week

So next week are they limited to ALW songs or Broadway in general?
PEACE.
#324

re: American Idol this Week

At what point do they start doing two songs each?

Top 6? Top 5?

I think we're getting close. If it's next week maybe they'll do one from the Lloyd Webber songbook and a second one from another composer (just general Broadway). Maybe?

re: American Idol this Week

I've heard it's song from the ALW songbook.

I'm not sure what that means, exactly. All the songs? Or just the ones he wrote with Rice?
