re: American Idol this Week

I think the only reason Jason is still in the competition is his physical appeal. In my opinion, he can't really sing at all. I like the guy, though.

Jason's voice kinda reminds me of the lead singer of Sublime a little bit..I think that AI is just the wrong venue for him.

I have to admit when I saw this, I was hoping he was talking some smack. re: American Idol this Week

One thing I liked about the ALW appearance was that he, for the most part, was actually somewhat critical of the contestants during his assessments, unlike the gushy feel-good things that most of the celebrity guests say. (sorry, Dolly, even though I love ya)

He didn't look thrilled after one performance when they cut to him. I'm thinking it was Castro.

I noticed that as well after Jason sang. The look on his face said it all

Jane, we warned you about drinking and posting. And it is not even 5 pm yet. Shame.
PEACE.

I liked David Cook, until the end. Where did that note come from?

It was the night of Syesha and Carly. And I liked Brooke!

re: American Idol this Week

He always looks kind of grumpy/gouty when he's in audience mode (like most of the time when he got his Kennedy Center honor), but he looked particularly displeased at that moment.

LOL, you mean you don't find Jason attractive?

Did you not notice those thighs?

On another note, I hate the wavy hands mosh pit with a more intense fire every week. I know they're probably made to do it. But it needs to stop. Along with the phone-in questions on results night.

re: American Idol this Week

I still wanna know what's going to replace the mentor singing part of tonight's show.

Is ALW going to play and someone else sing? Or what?

re: American Idol this Week

Tehy said he would be on stage tonight at the end of the show last night, so he'll probably be playing for someone else.

re: American Idol this Week

didn't someone post that they were going to do an ALW musical number? Or did someone just make that up?

re: American Idol this Week

Question: Do the Idols in the top 12 get paid at all? They're doing all those Ford commercials beside just being on the show. Reality shows are cheap to produce, but union rates come into play when they're doing commercial spots in addition to competing. Do they get paid any kind of union rate or stipend, or just room, board and transportation while they're staying in LA?

re: American Idol this Week

Wow. I definitely thought Brooke would have been in the Bottom 2.

re: American Idol this Week

Carly in the bottom two instead of Jason?! Unbelievable.

re: American Idol this Week

I hate the idiot people who are mass calling in for this. I just can't get over this. I have a feeling Carly will stay.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

re: American Idol this Week

Carly performance a minute ago was a MESS!

Also, you want to know why Jason is staying?????? He's a guy that the girls think is cute and available......which is something they knew that a Married Michael Johns was not. Teenage girls are the top demographic as far as voting goes, and that is why he is here.

Syesha just finished her song, and I thought it was a mess too! BTW, what is her song from?

re: American Idol this Week

It's from Starlight Express.

Completely surprised by this - I thought Brooke (who I LOVE) was a goner for sure.

re: American Idol this Week

When there is a small number of people, someone CAN (not that they always do), but they can get by on a sympathy vote. The biggest one I can think is Nikki staying over Tamyra in Season 1. Brooke got lucky.
