I consider myself a fan of Beyonce's. I think she's got a charming and endearing film presence, and I think she's a decent, hard-working singer.

Trust me when I say tour tickets are NOT struggling. She sold out all her Florida dates in minutes and there is talks of adding more dates.

Dreamgirls, The last concert tour, the Vegas dvd, the last album, the clothing line, playing Etta James and having Etta James be disgusted by it. I could go on.

If you haven't seen Cadillac Records re: the Etta James role, then do yourself a favor and watch it before you deem it a **bad** career move. If for anything enjoy Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters.

As it is, her last album went platinum, her Vegas DVD was the 6th best-selling that year, Dreamgirls made about $155 million, and the soundtrack to Cadillac Records was the number one blues album for 48 weeks. And the last two items were 6 and 4 years ago, respectively.

Did Beyonce not allow you to put a ring on it or something?

The movie was fine for what it was. Definitely worth a view. Kind of came and went.
