Beyonce has an amazing catalog of hits and is a remarkable entertainer, but to me she has never and will never be a legend. From her parents pushing her into the spotlight until now, she has never stuck me as having any mystique or depth. She's a hit machine with nothing that intrigues me.

Plus her speaking voice makes my skin crawl. She sounds like a valley girl at the mall. I cant listen to her for more than 2 minutes.

theaternut has a right to his opinion...but why does he feel the need to start threads bashing her...it's almost as he's made it his own personal mission to display his dislike for her every chance he gets.

Than again a better question is: Why should I care?

I think she has talent, or at least a talent for good connections to nurture whatever it is. I mean she can't write one song by herself without sampling or co-writers. I don't find her voice to be that remarkable. I never have. Just the tone and sound of her singing annoys me. Why else would she only sing in runs? To compensate?

And I've never liked her hair/weave blonde.

She is nothing more than overrated mediocrity.

Can she sing? Sure, so can millions of people. It's her producers who deserve most of (if not all) of the credit. As for her "hits," again, it's the producers. She slaps her name onto the songwriting credits, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why it takens 12 people to write ONE tune. So, I deduce she throws one line in there and fancies herself a song-writer. Her movement skills are more spastic and gawky than anything. She has the personality of a mop and her acting is ... well, need I even finish that sentence.

She can look beautiful from time to time. I'll give her that ...

I appreciate your passion. We must all defend our loved divas. Don't worry. As soon as someone of equal value comes back into my radar I will move on. But Raven Simone is semi retired.. so I don't know when that will be.

Beyonce - she's a pretty girl, but certainly not gorgeous, as she's known to be. She has a little talent, but not a great singer nor dancer. Overrated mediocrity.

Not to start anything Namo, but comparing her to Madonna, who is attractive but not beautiful, talented but not immensely - how is she any different from Beyonce? She has a charisma that CANNOT be denied and that's what kept her so successful all these years. The lack of Charisma can also be blamed for Gaga's only minor and short termed success.
