Justin Bieber Makes Friends Sign A $5 Million Liability Waiver Before Entering His Home
The Bieber doc warns activities in his home are "potentially hazardous and you should not participate unless you are medically able."
If you're planning on partying with Justin Bieber in his Calabasas mansion, be prepared to first sign a Liability Waiver and Release, which, if violated, can get you sued for a whopping $5 million.
That means if you tweet, Instagram or blog about a party at the popstar's house, you're likely facing a $5 million penalty fee.
TMZ has obtained a copy of the non disclosure agreement everyone must sign before entering Bieber's California home.
The doc warns there might be activities in the house which are "potentially hazardous and you should not participate unless you are medically able and properly trained," adding that repercussions can possibly include "minor injuries to catastrophic injuries, including death."
The NDA also writes that guests cannot later discuss the "physical health, or the philosophical, spiritual or other views or characteristics" of Bieber or his guests.
Someone should have told that to whoever leaked these incriminating photosfrom a party in Bieber's basement in March.
While the whole thing sounds wonky, it's not that out of the ordinary for celebs to make people sign NDAs before entering their personal homes.

he's slowly losing fans and he has no clue. First he tells his fans off at a concert, then he starts showing up late(sometimes hours late) to his concerts and now this. It'll be interesting to see where he is in 5 years or so.
He doesn't realize that in 2 years, he will be obsolete. He needs to have a chat with the Back Street Boys, NSYNC and New Kids.
I hope he is saving his coins.
And he got booed at the Billboard Music Awards. And then he thanked Jesus. Because Jesus is a Belieber.

5 years...that's generous.
I didn't think the teenage followers of him have an attention span that long.
He is just an idiot.
He's developing the "because I can" attitude and behavior that will make the media do everything in its power to rip him to shreds. As if the saggy pants weren't enough.
Once the monkey showed up it was all over.

Backstreet Boys and NKOTB were the 17th top concert tour of 2012 and are doing it all again this summer. If in 20 plus years Justin is grossing $40 Million dollars a year I think he'll be OK with that.
Um...I think this is the smartest decision he's made in years. I'm no fan, but he's smart to protect himself from liability in his home.

I make all my guests sign one. Otherwise, they claim you dislocated their hip or blinded then and want damages. I tell them, You have a precious memory to last a lifetime- you don't need a jackpot.
Are waivers of this nature uncommon for high-profile celebrities? This is the first I'm hearing of one. On one hand, it makes sense. On the other... what exactly are guests doing at La Casa de Bieber?
You can put an eye out doing the Macarena.
And if a participant should tell their best friend about the event, and that friend tells another friend, and before you know it, the media hears it, how will he track down who leaked it?
I love you Jane.
hmmm nut, what am I the one from the board that you worked with?
You know Bieber leaks it himself. It's the Smellt It/Dealt It rule of accusation.
and farts
Yep, he'll do whatever necessary to avoid becoming last month's trending topic. It's amazing how much manipulating mass and social media has become part and parcel of building and maintaining a brand in pop culture today. That's why I'm still wowed by the recording careers of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson long before the advent of social media. And Madonna remains a paragon of longevity in a business that panders to pre-teens.

I was going to write the exact same thing. It's become a time when anyone who can be sued needs to protect themselves in any way possible.
I worked for a celebrity who was very angry at me for posting a picture I took from their balcony, overlooking the ocean. There was not a single thing in the picture that would have told anyone where the picture was taken. It was a rock in the ocean and the shore-line. But, man, did I get an earful for that.
Justin is doing fine. A few years ago they were saying he would last a few years. Well.. he is still here. And he is 19. And the liability waiver thing is not a new thing. Very smart. Sorry.. I am not on the hater bandwagon.
I was at a New Year's Eve party at Madonna's one year. The next day I read in the paper about things that never happened there, a story made up by another person who was there. And who made money selling the story.
At another party she had, I saw lots of her gym clothes hanging to dry in one of the bathrooms. I was thinking she was awfully trusting leaving stuff around. Sure enough, those were taken along with a watch from her bedroom. AT that point I felt sorry for her

I've visited the private homes of a few very influential political families and they were required as well. I just don't recall them being newsworthy before but I'm hardly an authority on the lifestyles of millennial celebrities.

Jane I regret the Gym clothes. The smell is completely out of them and I can't even use them any more. I still wear the watch tho.
You're not the thief unless you were the friend of one of her dancers that year.
