They wouldn’t give me it.
I’m 40 years old. I have hiv. I also have cancer. Brian cancer.
I was told unless I’m 75+ years old. Nope. It’s like WTF

- Severe Obesity (BMI ≥ 40 kg/m2)

I hope you get an appointment soon and they sort themselves out because that is f*cked up. Good luck to you!

If Pennsylvania is like Florida there are specific places you are required to go to, if you fall under your state's age group. In addition, you may need to have a doctor's form stating the doctor recommends the need for you to receive the vaccine. I'm probably screwed for my appointment for tomorrow. When I made the appointment, a doctor's letter was only required. Now as of today, an official form must be completed by the doctor, which I don't have. The Pharmacy Manager insisted I make my appointment for Thursday. I could have made it for this past Monday or Tuesday, before the official form was required. I would recommend making a copy of what Sutton posted from your state's website and taking it with you. Again, not all vaccination sites are falling into the category of administering the shot. In Florida, pharmacies are included in our group.

Posted: 3/3/21 at 7:32pmMy neighbor said when she and her husband went to get their shots last week (in totally different places), neither one was asked for anything other than their appointment number and their ID before filling out paperwork. But when I went the other day, you’d think I was trying to get into the Oval Office, the amount of paperwork I had to fill out and things I had to show them and different “checkpoints” I had to pass before getting to the final paperwork and then sitting in the chair.

Sadly due to no bail law streets where I live and Times Square and the subways are now unsafe. Even if we wanted to and shows were running wife would not use them .We could get free tickets and it wwoukdnt matter
Anyway hope it all turns out ok for you and others regarding Broadway.
Roxy, you were 74 when you were washing dishes after the Last Supper! What's your real age. 'Fess up!

I don't know if you can thank Uncle Joe or Aunt Jill, but I wish you luck in getting vaccinated. I know some schools here on Long Island had on-site injections.

Uh, before our amazing President moved into the WH, there was nothing getting done on vaccinations. None. No organization, no universal plan to get shots into arms, absolutely zero.
So, we can thank Mr. and Dr. Biden forever.

Thanks Jordan. Slighty on topic. Now that many of you has received both shots or in the process, would you now travel (within the US). I am seriously thinking of going to Las Vegas at the end of August. Am I crazy?

Since it's not being projected that supply will be available to most adults by May I don't think the end of August is crazy at all to consider travel. It will probably still be in the process of getting shows up and running again (if that's what you like doing in Vegas). I'm curious how long it will be before they try to get the buffets running again.

Yes, I'm into shows. I've been speaking to reps from the different chains and they talk like many more shows (especially the one's I'm interested in) will be up and running by late Spring. Morrisey even has a couple of nights booked during the time I want to go, at the Colosseum. As far as buffets, some have already reopened. But they aren't self serve.

President Biden got his first vaccine on Dec 21,2020 which is about a month before he became POTUS.
Biden receives first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, says 'nothing to worry about' - ABC News (go.com)
"The president-elect said the Trump administration "deserves some credit" for getting the vaccine and distribution off the ground with Operation Warp Speed, but stressed that while the vaccines marked progress, the country needs to continue taking precautions to slow the spread of coronavirus, particularly around the upcoming holidays."

Posted: 3/4/21 at 8:23pmArtMan, I get my second dose in a few weeks and then 3-4 weeks later I’m planning to go down south to see my Mom, who is getting her second shot next week. I saw that the quarantine has been lifted in NY for people coming back who’ve been fully vaccinated which is big and just following Fauci and the CDC saying that people who’ve been vaxxed can be together - I’m gonna go.

Posted: 3/4/21 at 8:23pmI will finally be allowed to get mine at the end of the month. I wish it were sooner. Hopefully it won't be tough to get an appointment.

Spending the time together will end up being the best part of your trip.

Honey, you defended RUSH "I AM A RAPIST" LIMBAUGH AND DONALD "I AM A CHILD RAPIST" TRUMP. Your opinion holds no weight. I will say it again: Your opinion is as worthless and useless as Trump was for his entire life. He had no vaccination plan and stopped talking about Covid the second he no longer had it as hundreds of thousands of people died November - January.
This is the wrong website for you. Thanks so much though.
Love,
Sutton + literally everyone except two people on this board

Dude, there are a lot of awful people in this world but I personally do not get pleasure hearing that they died and need to celebrate it on a message board which was the point of the post. My comment did not defend Limbaugh and mentioned his failed marriages and drug problems. If hearing people die gives you joy then have a good time celebrating it. Sorry this board is for everyone. I like posting about Broadway and taking the monthly theater quiz for example.
