Yes Girly, the one who lives in the City. My first bus is 2:50. You'd think they'd put on more buses on days like this, but that won;t happen. At least make it a Friday schedule which has a 1:30
YOU, I hope Mom is doing better.

What an a$$hole he is! How does someone that lives in the city justify it being too bad out to get to work several blocks away, when someone who freakin travels in via bus from another state can f*cking get there?!
Then take the train. They run more frequently. Cabs will be at the station.
In case you couldn't tell, my blood is boiling.

^ I believe it. I work in the financial district and I travel all the way from North Bergen County, I take a bus to Pt Authority and then a train and I made it into my office at 9:22 am. My starting time is 10: 00 am. My teammates who live in the city and the outer boroughs are straggling in late or have called out.
Girly, say what I say "whatevah!" No sweat off of my nose. It's actually nicer when he's not here.
Carlos, be safe out there. They canceled all bus service in and out of Essex county. I'm glad I no longer live in that county. As long as they don't do the same to Monmouth County I'm good. Worse case scenario is I take the train home and walk the 15 minutes or so. NJ Transit is cross honoring tickets today.

Thanks Boobs. I will. I have my smartphone set up to receive Port Authority Alerts and NJ Transit alerts. I'm always on top of it especially in this type of weather. I'm hoping they let us out early. I fear the commute back home is going to be a mess.
Boobs, go to the Port Authority Alerts & Advisories Page. Choose from PATHAlerts, Bridge & Tunnel Alerts, Bus Terminal Alerts, Airport Info Alerts or PortNYNJAlerts.
Their is also a link entitled KNOW BEFORE YOU GO. You can click on that as well. It will take you to the page where you can set up your alerts to be sent via text message an/or e-mail.
Provide your email address and/or cell phone number and alerts will be directly e-mailed and/or text messaged to your smartphone. I do both and on top of that I follow NJTransit on Twitter and they post alerts on their as well.
Just got back from cleanuing off the car. I don't know why I did that since we're getting more snow later today and what we already have is higher than the car doors. The wind is just plain wicked!
I'm taking half day today. I want a partial snow day, at least!! Without being tied to this damn work laptop. I dread dealing with the truck. I backed in the driveway when I got home last night. Then the neighbor knocked on the door to see if I planned on going anywhere in the morning. I was um, no way. So they put their car in front of mine, at the end of the driveway, leaving the whole space where four other cars could fit better abled to be snowblowed. They've already been out, and she moved her car to the cleared out space. I've got to get out there when I log off.

With the drifting, I figure I'll be shoveled out by Tuesday. I just can't bring myself to go out and shovel yet, so I'm watching the Mad About You marathon on FX. I never watched it back then, so it's sort of refreshing. I KNOW DEET ... THAT WOMAN!
No Moony. I ordered him to stay home. His ride to Princeton is insane on a rainy day, let alone on a snow day. He's taking a vacation day. His company put into effect last week a new policy...if the building is open you're not allowed to work from home. So far they had a delayed opening (10:30), not sure if that changed. He is staying home though no matter what.

Nope! Since we are a private school, we don't have to worry about reaching a certain number of school days (we already have more class hours than the public schools anyway). There has been some talk about losing our Easter Monday holiday. Even if we wanted to, we couldn't have Saturday classes - we rent the school building out to the Japanese Embassy for Japanese language, history and culture classes for the chikldren of Japanese people who are stationed here. They use almost all of our classroom s on Saturdays.
I was thinking...next year for Valentine's Day Tinky should give Mr. Happy a pregnancy test box...of course replace the contents with a chocolate bar. Talk about watching a guy sweat
