Good to be home. I'm exhausted. My body has no idea what day or time it is, because the entire time we were in Sochi we were going strong and late into the night... the flight yesterday was delayed about 2 hours, and then, due to heavy headwinds, took about an hour longer than expected. LONG day of travel.
But, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. Amazing trip!

Will work on organizing my photos soon.

I was shaking my head this morning, when I checked into FB. Several of the snow days, my cousin's wife was yipping and yaying all over the place because school was called off. Last night, she was moaning and groaning how the alarm was set for Monday morning, to get up for school when they SHOULD be having off, but it got taken away because of all the snow days. She said, "thanks a lot snow"!

Oh, well. Can't have it both ways, sweetie.

Greetings Keaton!

In my travels this weekend I spotted 25 hawks, 4 bald eagles, and 60 cars in the ditch or at an active accident scene. Some of the worst weather I have ever had to traverse. We were lucky that it was only an extra 1.5 hours in the city at the end of our 10 hour trip. We spoiled C18 - great to see her.

My father can no longer feed himself and is deteriorating. I had some great moments with him this weekend. Incredible man - blind, one legged and still sweet and very funny! I expect the end within weeks.

BB - I did as did Mrs. Brd, C15 and C18. I wish I was there to help mom. My sister who lives there was in New Orleans but will be back today. We have to get more private help as the facility is assisted living and not a nursing home. We want to keep him there until his demise. They pay 4K so I do not expect that he will be kicked out to a nursing home unless he cannot get out of bed which he can still do as he has in the past with assistance and then transfer.

Bad night last night. A lot of pain and all the drugs did was make me groggy. Came in late today and will likely leave early. On the other hand (ha!) there was cake in the office this morning!
