Never mind the freezer, we can just leave the Windex on the window sill...

Taking Max to daycare I felt like Omar Sharif struggling through the snowy tundra in "Dr. Zhivago." And yes, we put him in today -- it's better they walk him in this weather. I almost fell twice already, and I'd rather not have to replace the replacement.

'Morning!

Our snow started earlier than expected yesterday.As of
8:00am we have @ 12 inches. We should top out @ 15 - 18.It looks like it's mixing with a bit of sleet right now so that might hold down the total and/or form an ice coating. Lovely. F'ing lovely.

On the good side, it looks like Boobs' admonition to Team USA worked! We're back to medaling!

Morning peeps! I slid into the City today. Hopefully I'll leave early and get home without too much of a hassle.

Moony, I believe the site I was looking at ranks them by the precious medals...not the amount of medals. See Germany has the most Gold medals then any other country, so they are rank #1. Silly way of ranking, but that's how they're doing it. If we do it your way then we're in 2nd place being Norway has a total of 13 medals and we have 12 It's about time the U.S. puts on their game face and shows this other countries what we're made of LOL

And even better - Russia trails us by 3!

Just came back in from exploring the neighborhood. The front yard now has 15 inches. We are getting a break for a few hours, then snow will return late in the afternoon for an additional 1-2 inches. We need that mid day break! They said it was coming down at a rate of 1 - 3 inches an hour last night. So get outta town before that happens, Boobs!

Morning!

It's coming down hard here. we've got 4-5 inches already looking at the cars. luckily they actually sent an e-mail out early saying our office was closed and to work from home.

I finally got to watch a little of the Olympics last night, some long skiing and speed skating.

Lego movie - commercials make it look much better than it was. Very cute for kids but not one that is just as entertaining for adults. After sushi and wine, we both had to keep pinching each other to stay awake.

When he got here, he was carrying this big box so gently. He presents it to me and it has holes cut in the sides, says do not shake, and appeared to be slightly moving. I had a heart attack thinking I was getting another pet! And then I opened it and see fur, but it was a big stuffed dog, can of pringles and large Reeses heart. Pain in my ass, he thought himself quite funny, as I had actually started to sweat a bit, lol.
