I have officially migrated to a new role within the company as of last Friday - Yahoo! I am moving to the corner office later this month.
Deet - those Chuppa's can get kind of heavy - but how fun!
The best thing is that it will be more quiet and I am removed from some of the shenanigans.
And a wee Happy dance.
And BTW - I think Idina and the If/Then folks handled the Oscar flub brilliantly. Lots of free publicity for the musical.

Any of you going to check out that new show that's airing before Revenge? Resurrection?

At first I automatically was not going to start a new show. Now, I'm up in the air about it. If anything, though, I will be DVRing. The Good Wife is back for the first time since January 12, and it's not up against Revenge for a change, so I'm watching that real time. It has priority over anything new.

Did anyone catch "Those Who Kill" on A & E after Bates Motel? I was wondering if it was worth watching.

Friends saw IF/THEN twice in DC and really loved it, so I'm going to get tickets to see it, on their recommendation.
Brd, hope your secretary is doing well. How awful.
I'm looking forward to seeing SWEENEY TODD tonight (I was invited through a work event). So far this day has been 100% crappy, so it will be a nice reward for all the nonsense.
Hope you all have a great day.

YOU, how's Mom doing? Is little YOU still in town?

Mouse Secretary has hairline fractures of pelvis. I expect her out for weeks. I have someone who can work 2 days a week. That might suffice for now. The old man hardly has any work so I can use his secretary.
Addy - I can never get enough Sweeney!

I want to rip my sinuses out of my head! Even sinus medicine doesn't help under these conditions. There's something in the cold air that gets me like this! Every morning and night when I hit that cold air I start sneezing and it lasts most of the day. WTF?

My little sister is in San Diego, but comes back into town on Friday, before going back home on Sunday. She was fantastic last weekend when my mom had a really really bad day. She is doing great in the treatment, but some unrelated medical issues are causing her problems, so she may need a wheelchair for a bit - hopefully this is temporary.
She is frustrated, but it seems like she is doing a good job battling the evil C. It is the other stuff that is causing her main issues right now. And the C doctors believe it is unrelated. But, I figure her body only has so much energy to fight, so things she might have been able to deal with before are popping up now. As Deet can profess, my mom is a doer, and having to actually sit still and treat herself kindly is a challenge.
I am working on contracts with my door closed and Idina's PBS special playing, at least it is some nice accompanying music to work by.

Sucks for your mother! So much C! My cousin's remission has ended and it is in her nodes. One of my best friends had his colon removed. He has a family genetic history and with the first sign of C they take out the colon.

I'm not going to talk about how utterly brilliant it is. I'm just not going to say a word...
(WOW!!)
