As I said, if it's friends who you have that kind of joking with it's okay. As long as you don't treat their friends and family the same way. They don't know you from Adam and your words get misconstrued. I had to tel my cousin that this person was joking with me. That he actually loves Ellen and was just playing.

I am on a FB hiatus. If I return I might even friend some of you!

I watched some of the Oscars - Ellen was funny. I literally wondered why I had been pronouncing Idena's name incorrectly for years!

Crazy morning today! Ugh. Soooooooooo tired. So much of the Oscars could have been wittled down to make it come in on time. The only awards show that's "allowed" to go over the allotted time. God forbid, the Tonys go over 1 second.

Overall, I was pleased with the results, except for Cate. Even though I knew she'd win, I still wanted Dame Judi to win.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Dames named Judi/Judy should always win.

Mooney and BB - I certainly will!

I must digress. I was at a fund raiser yesterday and saw many friends that I have not seen in a long time. I have lost 25 pounds since October and weigh the least I have since college. I am in good physical health and have received great benefits from a changed diet and exercise - my skin is clearer - my sinuses are less irritated, I do not have any sciatica and can walk up stairs without panting. I appreciate the concern from one church lady that I maybe had cancer, BUT the barrage from some of my dearest friends that I need not to lose anymore or that I look like a victim of an atrocity or I am too skinny - really irritated me yesterday! Ten years ago I weighed 224 - I was fat, bloated, and likely headed toward an an early demise. Today, I am not! I do not know why those thought they should lecture me! Enough said! Thanks for reading.

That happens to a lot of middle people who make the importsnt changes their bodies need. Well meaning friends can be unwitting sabateurs. You know that you're better and healthier and that's all that matters.

brd, I went through the same thing, but mainly with family. I think that's why I gained so much weight. In an Italian-American household I was always "too skinny", so they needed to constantly feed me. Once I balloned above 200 pounds they were very happy and pleased with themselves. They are annoyed when I started dropping the pounds.

I have only seen a few members of my family - a bunch of fatties and they did not attack me.

Speaking of which - I am guessing that two of my nieces have ballooned up over 300. My sister posted photos on FB and friends of mine have literally contacted me aghast of the pics!

Weight control is not an easy thing. I'm trying my best with portion control now. It's a lifetime commitment. Not sure I'm ready for, but I;m trying.

We lost a sister in law to anorexia/bulimia. Her son recently weighed 400 and now is down to 240! Her daughter was anorexic, but now has replaced her disease with a Cross Fit obsession.

Also, after her death my brother ended his life long struggle with alcohol! There are stories about the way that her parents treated their grandchildren before during and after the funeral - cruel! There is a special place in hell for them!

Morning peeps! Happy Mardi Gras to the Moony Family. My church asked if I would help out tonight with the pancake dinner. Unfortunately I could never make it there by 7 p.m. I will make myself a pancake as an after dinner snack tonight. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

IHOP has free short stack until 10:00. Asking donation of at least $5.00 for Children's Miracle Network. Since I'm here until 6:30, doubt I'll get there.

Dug up my accessories. Good thing I keep most of them here already. Boss isn't around yet, curious to see what kind of reaction I'll get. He's just not quite used to me. Go figure.

Mardi Gras? Totally forgot! No pancakes in the house, I did make C15 eggs and a smoothie this morning. He is SO grumpy in the morning! Yikes!

What is the drink special for Mardi Gras?

For some reason I did not know about the pancakes thingy - we will just pretend my oatmeal with blueberries has some maple syrup in it.

Happy Tuesday Adults! I woke up with a smile at watching Idina's Tonight Show performance. It was freaking adorable. And much better than the Oscars!

I battle just to not gain weight - but have to get some off. Bleech.

Mornin'

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

The best thing Travolta did for my girl was screw up her name. She is the most talked about Celeb from the Oscars.

Was he drunk? And, is he gay as the tabloids allege? Mrs. Brd says that he is. And, I mean gay as in having sex with men.
