I love Godspell and regret not having the opportunity to be in the show! Love the new Hunter Parish recording. However, the By My Side makes me ANGRY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Warm here - 50 degrees!
Thanks Tinky. Please send good vibes my way. Hopefully I don't fall asleep during the 2 1/2 exam.
brd, I did Godspell twice. One of my favorite shows. The first time I played John the baptist/Judas. The second time I was lucky to sing "We Beseech Thee" I hear you about the new "By My Side" one of my fav songs and they ruined it.
Why did they have to update the Facebook format yet again?
Why?

By the way, we had a gorgeous version of "By My Side" sung at our wedding.

So Adults - tell me which version of both the Godspell and JCSC Cast Recordings to purchase.
What changed on FB? Mine is the same. So far.

Y, the new Godspell is nice, I just hate a few songs. Hunter Parish's Beautiful City is lovely.
I have the JCS 20th Anniversary London Recording - orchestrations are so rich! Love it!
At office with C15 - he is doing homework - I am preparing for Mouse Secretary' temp or permanent replacement to arrive Monday! Hope he works out!

Top o' the morning', y'all!
Heavy snow here last night so no school today. We have 9 inches in the front yard with more to come. Ugh. I am so over snow. The last thing we needed was another day without classes. We had a big fundraiser today that got canceled as well. The 3rd fundraiser cancellation this year - all due to snow.
I also bought Irish Soda bread for the office. Now it's just me, a pot of coffee and the loaf of bread. I'm having my own private St. Pat's party!
Mornin.
Didn't get to do anything Irish over the weekend (except listen to a very long history lesson how most of the things people were doing weren't really Irish. Gotta love dating a smart man). But luckily, no snow for us. just chilly temps. Sorry Moony! Boobs & Girly - did you get any snow?
Dusting of snow when I walked out the door this morning. Nothing up at work, which I expected since that's NW of where I live.
Crazy as it sounds, I want one more big snow this year. I say that every year, but alas, I never get it.

Morning peeps! Crazy running around weekend.
Had fun Saturday night with HC's mom and her senior friends. We played Pokeno. Some of the people had problem with spades and clubs, so clubs became "puppy toes" It's a visual thing. It took me a bit to realize why this guy kept asking the caller "is that puppy toes?" Never fails to be an experience with his mom. She told all her friends I was a Wall Street Banker. I get tickets for the first row for Broadway shows. Ok we took her to see 1 Off-Broadway show and I got 1st orchestra seats. Then she told everyone I gave her the most exquisite gifts. How embarrassed was I when she unwrapped the fold away cane I got her. Hey HC told meI didn;t even have to get her anything. I figured she's 88 and she can say what ever she wants.
Coffee hour at church was a success. St. Joesph's pastry, 2 soda breads and my sugar-gluten free Blueberry cake went. I got to speak with the director of JCS and rehearsals start the Saturday before Easter Sunday.
After church I went to see the worst production of Pippin ever! I guess I should horrible cast. I was proud of my cousin Nina though. She was splendid in the role of Catherine. She was always a quiet kid, so seeing her get up and act and sing in front of a crowd was amazing. Who new she had such a pretty voice too.

We were at two fun Paddy's Day parties on Saturday, good to get out and about! Had not see many for months. First time seeing our friend since her husband's funeral!
Will pick up a Guiness on the way home!

It's still snowing @ 12:40pm. Enough, already!
Got desperate and booked our summer cottage in Maine. Gotta have SOME light at the end of a long tunnel.
WOW Moony, that's ridiculous. When I left the house this morning we had flurries. Not sure how much fell after that. Nothing here in NYC.
It was a wee quake - but centered relatively close (maybe 15 miles away). Most of the time, it is about 10 seconds of shaking and then waiting to see if that is it.
If you get stuck in a bad one, then that can be terrifying - almost like surfing on your floor - but this one was not much.
One of my best friends was on the Golden Gate Bridge during the 1989 SF Quake. She thought she blew a tire until she saw the bridge cables dancing - she passed the parts that collapsed and got home safely.
Luckily, I have not been on top of a major quake (fingers crossed). The big ones were in the valley, and while we felt it, it was nothing like what those on top of it experienced.
But, I think I might take an earthquake over a tornado or hurricane. The do not last as long, and you know pretty quickly whether or not it has done real damage.
And just because, it was in the high 80's here yesterday. I had thoughts of turning my AC on. This weather on both coasts is just bizarre.
Happy Green Day Adults!

Y, just read about it and thought of you! I was in a "wee" quake in Anchorage in 1981
Thanks for thinking of me! I have been pretty lucky with quakes so far - knock on wood! And thanks for the recommendations!
morning peeps! DWTS new season started. Of course my favorite is Charlie White, but we knew that before the show even started. He finished top last night. There were some good dancers. His ice skating partner Meryl was good, as was Candace Cameron and Danica (Winnie) from "The Wonder Years" Billy Dee Williams sucked! Even the girl with 2 prosthetic legs did better than him.
Morning!
I've never gotten into DWTS. My mom watches it religiously though.
I exploded my oatmeal in the microwave. Can't tell if that is a sign of things to come today, or that it can only go up from here? lol
