That was a fast return - I just saw you posting from Florida yesterday!

 

Hot week here. The BIG boss is closing down the offices on Thursday and hosting everyone at her family's summer home on the Chesapeake. "Bring your bathing suit - the pool is open!" It will be a sub-zero day in hell before anyone sees me in a bathing suit!

BWG - how long have you been at your job and do you have a new job? Change is scary for me! 

Back from vacation. Lovely time on the lake - 8 of us in two small cottages. Weather was nice. Swam, kayak, boat, shopped.  Fun times. Mother in law here for 9 days, wacky but kind and generous. 

New legal assistant must think this is her apartment! Too much unnecessary change. Not sure this is going to work.

East school 8/22 - I am driving her! 

High school 8/24.

C20 staying and going to community college in that other state in October.  She has been seeing doctors and sees a psychologist tomorrow.

Had a little karatosis removed today - free of Thor the alien growth!

At some point in my career I will hire a legal assistant that 1. has no odor problem and 2. no twitchy cough.

I literally laughed to myself that Girly is available!  This one I have known for a few decades. Her older self is not as efficient and stranger than the younger version.  

I called an agency today to see what is available!

This is "get away day" for me. I'm flying back up to Maine this evening for a family reunion. Female cousins only - should be interesting! I haven't seen most of them in 35 years!

That is fun! We are going to Bears pre-season game tonight - fun to see my "tailgate" friends that I have not seen since last year. C17 is skipping as he is exhausted with 7 hour football practices.

How is that show?  We have not watched any network this summer.  Only three episodes of OITNB.

We have had little rain and have had countless dinners with the girls on the deck. Even C17 shows up some of the time. It has been a great family summer - no drama!

Gotta love no drama!! Enjoy it while you can!

 

I really like AWC. A little hokey/cheesy at times and I don't think they could have done well as a full season, but it's just right for summer viewing.
