What a disappointment.
Not that i'm giving up my ticket....
Well, if everything I've been reading is true, maybe it's for the best. PJ is seeing it tonight. I'll be interested in reading his review.

I think so, Moony, not that I've been paying attention.
Everything I've heard about PAL JOEY, from both my "real" and "Broadway" worlds, has been dreadful. Except for Martha Plimpton - she's getting across the board raves from everyone.

Happy Tueday and last day at the office until Monday!
Shamey - I am also in a rare good mood, not that I do not want to send C15 off to boot camp. I drove her to school at 6:00 am and asked a reasonable question and she would not respond!

Tut. I wanted to see PJ. Might not bother now.
Linnie, you should go and form your own opinion of the production.
Yeah, Linnie. You should come see for yourself!

I've never been to 54, so I may well do that. I also wanted to see 13 (don't judge me) to make up for my not seeing any other JRB shows, despite my love of the scores.
Good, good. Now, all you need is a plane ticket!
linnie, are you going to be in the states again soon?
I have fond memories of Studio 54, unfortunately my back thinks differently! just kidding, love you kids.
I feel the same about 13...it does seem cute for some good kid fun.

I'm headed your way soon again, indeed.

My memories of Studio 54 have nothing to do with theater
The only time I've tried to see a show there was A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE - which drove me screaming from the theater before it even made it to the intermission.
"Streetcar...drove"...hehe, puns.
I remember 54 the same way Q does - and not from STREETCAR...
Prom Night. 1978. Our group was the only one from our school who got in. Good times. I remember EVERYTHING.

Morning!
All my classes have gotten out early so far today, and I'm going home at 5pm! I'm so, so happy.

D2, you are not as old as I thought you were!
Somewhere between 40 and death?
Drive by morning to the Adults. Off to finish three HUGE contracts by tomorrow so I can relax and enjoy Turkey day.
It is very hard to leave when Zander is serenading me from the floor below. He is so weird.
For what its worth, I read the Pal Joey was very mixed - with both Plimpton and Channing being the only thing worthwhile in the show.
Off to face the freeway!
It's Mazel, and you're older.
I'm still looking forward seeing it. I almost always like something about everything I see.
