I hear ya. When my day's going wonky, I just remind myself that I was almost out of job a few months ago. At the time, I was saying it wouldn't be so bad to have the summer off, then get something in the fall. Well, let's just say that I'm thankful it didn't play out that way.

I saw a great production of LaChiusa's "Wild Party" last night, student directed, acted, etc...and it was really excellent. I'm definitely not a huge fan of LaChiusa's score, it's just way too...all over the place for me, but some pieces were fantastic. The acting was really superb by all, and it was great!

I had yet another really extended happy hour...lots of fun...people are whacky....but damn my body hates me. Or does it just hate the massive amounts of vodka? Maybe a little bit of both.
