Rath, that's wonderful! Congrats!
Rath, they saw you coming!
Thanks. I'm pretty excited. Apparently my Irish accent is still credible.
Moonie...the weirdest thing is that YEARS AND YEARS ago (while living in NYC) I was visiting DC for the weekend and saw the sign to Rockville on the highway coming home. I got off and drove around until I found the Fitzgeralds' gravesites. (Scottie had not died yet.)
I was obsessed with Fitzgerald from the time I was in high school through grad school. I even gained entré into the Rare Books department at Princeton where they let me go through a box of his and Zelda's personal effects (driver's license, passport, and so forth).
So winding up as a resident in the town right next to Rockville is quite bizarre to me, really!

I'm sure that's pronounced "Buch-ay".
How do you type that accent over the e?

MP, every time I come down 270, I sing, "Don't go back to Rockville."
Well, later folks, I really must do *something* in the way of a chore. Missy, I'm putting on the exact same clothes I wore yesterday. I figure the only person who saw me was you, so I can get away with it!
Put some lo mein in the pocket in case they fall down, Janey!
Hi Miss Penny...glad you're home safe and sound.
Janey..losing weight there fatty that your pants are falling down? Don't disappoint me and become slim Jane !!!
*Cookie nibbles*
Hi, Boobs! It was great to see you. I'm very happy we sat next to each other at dinner. Everything is going to be fine...you have a very positive spirit. And good taste in shirts!!!!
Sounds like quite an evening on Saturday.
It was. I was very lucky to have such a great group of friends who were willing and able to spend time with me.
Hey Miss Penny...I must say, that was the 2nd time we were in each others company and you gave me nice compliments on the shirts I was wearing....now I'll always have to wear a funky shirt when you're around.

She's not old enough, Rath.
Stritch says she'll buy a new hat for you.
*hugs Janey*
It was wonderful Saturday, even the rain couldn't get us down..just wet. Rath made this friend very proud.
I'm singing that old Carpenter's song "Saturday" to myself right now...
