It's a man thing...
Latin men generally hate turning 33.
DD, that is WONDERFUL! I know it won't be easy, so turn to us whenever you need support!
I'm SO happy to hear your news!

33?????
Why - do they think they will follow in the steps of Jesus? (not that it would be a bad thing)
Thank you for the coffee, DD and Cookie!
I guess we each have our 'age' which pushes us to do something. Take stock, and all that.
Exactly! You don't hear of an unusual amount of men dying at 33, but for some reason latin men believe THEY will die at 33. It's just a man thing... I figure that's the similar situation that girly's boss is going through.

"I'm appalled at the comments on the thread about him."
I have to agree, Addy. Ideological zealotry shouldn't lead one to forget we're talking about a human death. And even if there are serious faults with the individual, their death affects their family - and those family members deserve better than what's being ladled out there.
Thank you, DG.
That's exactly how I feel about the situation.

"There but for the Grace of God, go I"...
Sometimes we forget that quite suddenly tables might turn on us. How would we feel if it were a member of our family.
His family has suffered and will suffer this and the reputation attached to his name. Not something to gloat about.

'xactly!!!
I'm making chicken soup... you know, it's antibiotic.
I thought it would be easy, yet I've been cooking for 40 minutes!
I bought an Iced-tea maker today.
That is about as complex as I get.
At least I am off the Diet Coke, but now I have my caffeine.
An iced tea MAKER?
At the party I was at last night, this guy was trying to get me to try these new Jasmine and Green bottled teas.

Is Addy here tonight. I thought of her when I saw the TCM was showing Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn. :o)
And, I'm trying to master doing a Sudoku puzzle quickly. My mind must be too burned out these days to handle the logic...
I wish I could go to NYC, sit in Central Park, eat an everything bagel with herb garlic cream cheese and do Sudoku...bliss. :o)

Just for the record, I like this thread.
Edit - Ooops - I'll try this one.

DG.. it did not post.
It basically just acts like a coffee pot, and brews the tea for you and the dispenses into a carafe with ice in it. You add lemon or other flavors to taste.
Basically, it has a much larger, self-contained carafe so you can brew three quarts at at time.
It is just better than using the instant crap, and it makes it easier for me to make it. Otherwise, I was buying jugs of tea from TJ's.
For 16 bucks at Costco, I thought it was worth it if it made things easier. If that makes any sense...
