Addy - just thinking about that made me think of a wonderful "Pajama Party" around the holidays. Wouldn't that be fun? Red plaid flannel on everybody! And hot buttered rums for the tummies.

(I'm not a big fan of summer heat and humidity - so I spend my days fantasizing about winter!)

I hate to veer the topic back to mice, but with mixed emotions, I must report that the mouse that kept me awake all last night is dead (now that I see it, I think it's a baby rat, which doesn't make me feel a whole lot better). It was curled up by the area where my radiator came out of the floor, so I guess it was trying to get out after I blocked it in. While I'm relieved that I shall sleep much better tonight, I can't help but feel a sorry for the little critter. It looked so forlorn and sad. But it's now been laid to rest in one of New York's many public trash cans.

Now -- back to the pajama party. Even though I never wear pajamas. And I'm with you on the winter, Mamie -- as long as the temperature stays above 30. Winter fashions are so much more fun, anyway.

Happy Friday all !!! Coffee is brewing and I'm hoping that SOMMS shows up with something delicious that he whipped up. It might be dangerous using the words SOMMS and whipped in the same sentence though.

My boss is an ass. I don't have to be in by 7-7:30ish. I do it for my own sanity re: commuting. He needed info for an 8:00 meeting. He waits until 7:45 to ask me for this. Then all the color printers are jammed. Finally found one, and of course it takes forever to print this crap. I'm gone for 10 minutes. I get back with the presentation and I get, "Where were you? I have a meeting to get to!" Well, duh, I was off twiddling my thumbs. WTF would he have done, if I decided to stay in bed for an extra 1/2 hour, which I had contemplated doing?

Good morning, Addy! Pink party yummy PJ's. Now that I've found the pic, I just have to find the jams.

All the breakfast talk on this thread makes me so hungry. I'm just finishing my fat-free yogurt and high fiber cereal. It puts me to sleep just writing it here. (I'm looking forward to a real breakfast on Monday!!!)
