Moony, I'm so sorry to hear that he's not feeling well. Glad he got a Dr. appt, and hope he gets the meds he needs to start feeling better soon. Hope the R&R of the vacation encourages a rapid recovery.
I've been seizing my post-Upfront freedom this week!
On Tuesday evening I was invited to a small party at Henri Bendel's to have custom-made sandals made by Tuccia di Capri! Ooh la la. A glass of prosecco (or three) and custom made Italian sandals! Fun. I settled on a medium-wedge with cream leather and gold chain wrap. I figure they'll be a blend of casual and dressy. (check out the Capri Classics in the link below)
Last night I was invited to dinner at The Modern (Heaven! Complete with Truffle cart at the end of the meal), and then to see HARVEY at the Roundabout Theatre. Such a sweet show. Jim Parsons and Jessica Hecht were wonderful. Great comedic timing with a blend of humanity and sweetness. The sets were perfect. Enjoyable show.
Tonight is dinner at Rosa's! Margaritas and guacamole! Can't wait!
Next week it's back to the Windy City for a week of meetings and presentations, so I'm packing as much 'real life' into this week as I can.
How about that storm last night? I was heading to dinner when it really started to crack. The subway was flooded. Just gross.
Boobs, hope you're feeling a little better. Summer bugs are never fun.
Hope everyone has something fun planned for the weekend.
