G'morning
Day two of J2's mini-vacation.
Retirement is not going to be easy.
Although seeing HARVEY last night was fun. I've never seen the play and haven't seen the movie since I was a child -- silly, but charming and a wonderful way to spend a summer evening. As I remarked to J2 on the way out "What will we see Jim Parsons in next summer?"

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Morning. I haven't heard from her, so think no news is good news!
It's raining in NYC. Good day to stay home in my pj's. Too bad I'm in the office...
Good luck, Boobs. (And hope you're feeling better!)
Happy Friday, all!

Deet, I saw HARVEY on Wednesday night. Just charming!
I said the same thing to the person I was with - that I'd never seen it on stage, and hadn't seen the movie in years. Really loved the production. Thought Jim Parsons and Jessica Hecht were fabulous.

They were -- the whole cast was terrific; I particularly loved Carol Kane. The understudy for Myrtle Mae was on last night. I can't remember her name but I can check the main board because I'm sure there's a thread about her.
She was quite funny.

I really wanted to see harvey, it just wasn't in the cards. I walked to the box office last week but without discount, just couldn't justify the cost. Glad it was so well received. The show holds a special place in my heart.
I am in an excellent mood, which well for me we know is not a regular thing, but feel kind of guilty because this Colorado event is beyond heartbreaking.... and really scary knowing how many people I know were at screenings last night and it could've easily happened to them...

Enjoy that excellent mood, Tink!
We love a happy Tinkerbell!
The situation in Colorado is heart-breaking. What is WRONG with people? And when the heck are we going to get serious about gun control laws and punishment!
Deet, we had the understudy for Myrtle Mae, also. She was wonderful. And, yes, Carol Kane was hilarious. Loved the touch with the rabbits all over the set at the very end. I'll have to visit the main board to read up on what people thought of the show. Always fun to read 'reviews' after seeing a show.

Colorado has made me a bit sick.
I am so sick of the gun porn in this country - and the NRAs influence over local, state and federal regulators/officials.
When is my right to be left alone/safe as important as your right to own a gun?

So happy it's Friday, our plans for tonight got canceled so we actually get to stay home, have a home made dinner, and watch the last two episodes of Eureka. (I feel so old looking forward to a Friday night in.)
Weather in the Great Pacific Northwest continues to baffle: 60s and rain. We had yet another thunderstorm last night, that's like five or six in the past couple of weeks. We usually get one per summer.

Morning peeps! What a lovely weekend, although it went too fast. Saturday was wonderful spending time with friends and enjoying a fun show at the Bucks County Playhouse. Everyone keep your eye out for Kenita Miller...the girl is a little spitfire with an amazing voice.

It used to be you could enter Canada without a US passport, but now the WHTI requires US citizens to have a passport to return home. So Canada will not allow a US citizen into the country who does not have the proper documentation to return home.
