Beat me, daddy, eight to the bar!

Not to point out the obvious, but being a 'man of the cloth' CERTAINLY doesn't imply 'no sex'.

I confess I have no idea why I'm out of bed.

JG---I'm not sure what constitutes "ages" for you. Are we measuring in minutes, hours, weeks, years... eras?

DG --- Ain't it the truth?

Rathy --- You're out of bed to say hello to me, of course.

I confess that my parents changed their minds and said I can go to London afterall. Needless to say, I am out of my mind with joy at the moment!

Fleet Street, Les Miz, Virginia Woolf, and Billy Elliot...here I come! Beat me, daddy, eight to the bar! Beat me, daddy, eight to the bar! Beat me, daddy, eight to the bar!

Fleet Street's kinda like Wall Street now. It's in the business district over by St. Paul's Cathedral. Don't get your hopes up too high.

BUT... You MUST take the Jack the Ripper Walking Tour. It's pretty cheap and a guide takes you all over Whitechapel for about 2 1/2 hours, and gives you the history of the place, as well as several of the murder sites. Truly creepy, haunting, disgusting... and a great substitute for what you think you might be getting walking around Fleet Street. You can actually get a sense of the seedier side of London in the 1880s.

Laundry, errands, finding a cheaper ride home at night. I have to take a car because there are no Metro-North trains after 2:00 a.m., and I'm spending a huge chunk of my salary on it.

Well, that basically sucks. Can you carpool with someone? Is there anyone you know or can link up with who's "going your way" at that hour? Maybe you can share the cost?

Just a thought. And an ignorant one at that.
