Yes Definitely.. Bring it or there shall be blood shed, I'm in complete agreement
I will third this. (Can you third something?) Anyway, I am a huge fan of this song as well. Spidey, if I may suggest- it's a big acting song. Even if you are still sick you can get around by really putting emphasis on certain lines. It's got a lot of range, but I have heard it done with major riffing and without any riffing at all and it works both ways as long as "Judas" is singing it if that makes any sense.

I won't send the version that I have currently simply because I am not thrilled with it personally. I'll be able to record another version on Monday and I'll work on that and try and send it to you and Cam then.

Yay! Thanks Tiff. I felt very passionate that there was one song in particular that I felt Kerrie should do. It is probably one of my top 10 musical theatre songs of all time. I really would like to hear Kerrie transform into this character and really act this one out as if she were in Firenze.
The judges pick for Kerrie is "The Beauty Is" from The Light in the Piazza.
Also- I fully support your freestyle choice, Kerrie.

I don't think karoke is needed. The vocal selections are available...I bet she can have it played for her.
If not then I'd even be fine with acapella if she is. 90% of the Broadway karoke tracks are tough to listen to anyway.

I do have the sheet music for it.. so I can have Steven play it. Along with I Can Do Better Than That (my official freestyle choice!)
This will be interesting. I don't usually sing the classical stuff... I sing along with the Piazza CD all the time.. so we'll see. Hopefully I will be able to "bring it" as well.. heh.

Trust me stephen, my little emotion muse, I will become "Judas." The name of Spidey and Judas will be the same name. Seriously though, I love "Heaven on Their Minds" and trust me when I say I will try my best to make it have anger, sadness, admiration, etc. Also, when I chose my freestyle song--"Tears from Heaven"--you were in my head the entire time. And I told Catie something yesterday that I believe will make it quite emotional for me.
And Kerrie, you are going to blow the computer screen off with your songs. Don't you worry! Remember for my choice--RAW AND GRITTY!!
