Posted: 4/30/06 at 9:25pmSpidey-WOW to the beginning. Your voice sounds great. Really great. My one problem with it so far is the same as always. You start so loud there is NOWHERE to go. You didn't act the hell out of this, but you did act it more than you have in the past. So yay improvment! One of your best!

JCS is the only decent Webber score.
I enjoyed it Spidey. I was very glad that you were willing to but some emotion in there.
I do believe the begining was much stronger, let it simmer first, then kick it.
All in all it is one of my favorites of yours for the competition. I love that you decided to follow through after all the "act" admonitions.
(Tiff, no one can say that about THIS one. )
I am not a fan of the reverb though. I like things naked.

Love Cait, but I disagree with your assessment. I think the build-up was really effective, almost too effective. He was really subdued in the beginning and didn't let fly until later. And I would say those tortured wails were "acting the hell out of it", but everyone has a different interpretation.
I'm very happy, Spidey. Very happy indeed. (I agree with Clay though on the reverb.)
And on that note, Lee Tergesen is on "Desperate Housewives". We'll be back with BWW Idol after this quick commercial break.
