Yeah but needles in the eye were not that much fun.

But numbing drops are the most amazing thing ever.

And because I want to threadjack right now so I don't have to send 10000 more PMs here is my news

1. I got 7 more stitches out! now down to 36 in my eye!
2. I had glue to hold the cornea and the doctor was able to clean out the stuff that was falling out (a very good thing!)
3. The stitches were actually buried, which mean my eye is healing better than he expected.
4. Everything looks perfect and I don't have to go back until the end of April.

Woohoo!

Took the laptop in today to get the hard drive replaced.. Guy talked to me like I was an idiot and pissed me off.. He was trying to tell me it wasn't a hard drive problem that it was possible it's a software issue.. Guess what Dumb F*ck how can it be a software issue if it errors before it even gets to the software? Whatever, Unless it needs to be sent out (only if they dont have the hard drive in stock) I should have it back no later than Saturday.. I truely appreciate the sympathy pains.. I was very devastated when I thought I lost all those files..

and You know Tiff that was completely harmless.. I dont have the faintest idea why you got attacked by those people.. I thought you to be very erm... Fashionable.. yeah that's it.

Thanks, me too.. It's been on life support since last Thursday.. Thankfully I was able to ghost it and pull the files I needed.. I was seriously hating life when I thought they were lost for good.. I've grown far too attacthed and dependent on that thing.. yet I'm not willing to change it.. I have a desk top but it's not very convenient.. I WANT my laptop back..

Hope it comes back as soon as possible. I had a scare yesterday. My screen is literally coming off of its hinges. Thankfully, the lovely people at Dell are coming friday or Saturday and fixing it for me AFTER the warrenty is expired already.

I just hope it lasts until then because desktops are difficult

Actually Tiff it's still under warranty.. I bought the extended warranty when I got it.. It covers everything expect software issues.. so it shouldn't cost me anything.

Caitie you are lucky that they are going to fix it.. Isn't it always the case that something breaks right after the warranty is up?

BTW, that's great news about your eyes..

And not always. Our family computer broke right after (3 days) the warrenty was up a while back and they made us pay a lot for it.

I am thinking that maybe this was an error in the product because they stopped making them like this within six months of me getting it.

Gotta love technology huh?? You know this couldn't have happened a couple of weeks ago when I didn't need to have it at rehearsal with me every night.. Oh well.. let's keep our fingers crossed that they have the correct hard drive in stock.

Pretty much.. He was talking down to me like I was an idiot.. But at the same time he had no clue what so ever about my backround. for all he knew I could be an engineer.. It's like a couple of years ago I rented a medium format camera for a wedding I was shooting and the sales guy gave me a ton of attitude. He flat out told me how stupid I was for using a camera that I had never used before to shoot a wedding. First of all the Asshole had no idea that there isn't a camera on this planet that you can put in my hands and I wont be able to use it. Secondly he had no clue that I used to be in the camera sales industry.. thirdly it was just one of 3 cameras that I was using to shoot it.. so you can imagine my satisfaction when I went back in there after developing the pics with only 3 pics out of all the rolls I had shot being bad. and by bad I mean someone blinked.. F*cker!! That is one thing I cant stand, is to be talked to like I'm stupid.. Whatever, they will find out it's a hard drive problem like I said and will replace it.. I just love to make people eat crow.. I'm nasty like that.

I'm not sure what I intend to do in the future.. I have in the past gotten great customer service there.. This was just one pompus Asshole that thinks he's better than me.. It's ok I'm sure his manager or corperate or both will be getting a letter about him in the very near future.. It was Best Buy though in case you really wanted to know.

Ah, Best Buy - yeah, it's probably just that one guy who was an ass. I usually get pretty good service there too - plus they work on commission so they have motive to be nice to you!

Actually here they dont work on commission.. and he was a mememer of "the geek squad" whatever..

Remind me to tell you the Howard story if you are interested.. That was one great story about someone thinking they were smarter than me only to learn otherwise.. I'm heading home now.. should be online in like 30 min or so.
