Thanks Gertie. I
the Backstreet Boys!
And you too, I guess
Oops, sorry. My comp just froze. I haven't listened to your clips yet, Kitz. (Hence my silence.)
If you don't listen to "Beautiful Day," I think it would be better for our friendship in the long run
...You should've told me this 1.5 minutes ago.
Umm...I'm going to save my comments until the end.
Up now! Kitzarina doing "Moment In The Woods" from Sondheim's Into The Woods!
Kitz - Moment in the Woods:
Now we are talking. This is obviously more your genre. No question.
Sondheim is hard to do and you pulled this out very well. Vocally you are much more comfortable and your acting on this number is top notch. Doing Sondheim, knowing what you are saying and acting is key and you pulled it off very well. There were a couple of tiny pitchy places but nothing that took away from the song over all. This might be my favorite performance from you in the entire competition and probably a top 5 for me from anyone.
I really liked it.
Wait'll you hear her freestyle.
Wow this is the Kitzy I know and love!
You acted it! Which you do amazingly. There were some pitch issues, but it was good. I loved the "a prince fro whatever" and the beginner. You had the character down. And your higher notes sounded GREAT!. Seriously, I really really liked it. I personally think Ssondheim woulda liked it
Yay Kitz!
And I second what Stephen said, My favorite by you and one of the best in the entire competition!

I already have Rath.
I really loved "Moments in the Woods" you are Sondheim's Beayotch, and that is a great thing.
Then you know what I'm talkin' about.
It can't be good that I *just* listened to the OBC version of this song...
But you really pulled this one off.
And you know you love me.
I do Rath. It will be a very nice pair of songs to follow the weaker first number.
Kitz's final song - "Someone To Watch Over Me" by Le Gershwin!
(And yes, I'll fix the typo.)
Kitz - Someone to Watch Over Me:
Another very good song from you. You sound very comfortable while singing this song which really helps. You act it very well which makes it sound very authentic and timeless. I do think that you would have benefited even more by having accompaniment, but that's neither here no there. Very nice work.
I really think that these two really great numbers will help overlook the weaker U2 performance.
Great last two songs, Kitz. Especially STWOM.
This is one of my favorite songs ever and I have heard many many versions of it,
That said, the second I heard your voice I thought you should do this song.
So here goes.
I was COMPLETLY right. This is probably the BEST version of this song I have heard your tone and quality and acting is just right for it. Seriously girl...this is my favorite of yours (Moments being a close second) and this is up there with Kerrie's still Hurting for best of entire show. I mean DAMN GIRL! The end was amazing too.
I am so happy you were all I thought you would be.
It's my mommy's favorite song
I believe STWOM is Kitz's finest performance of the competition.
STWOM- Was great.
I love how you act it.
Two great songs to "bring it".
I think I still liked "Momens in the Woods" better though.
I think STWOM and MTT are tied for your best performances yet, Kitz!
Up now! Spidey does "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" by U2.
It wasn't even recorded for the competition. I was having a discussion about what songs I've been singing the most around the house lately. It wasn't until Rath heard it and wouldn't shut up that I decided to send it in.
Knew I had to make up for the horror that was U2
Yeah, those two might make my short list of songs from this competition I'll listen to a second time.
This is a good karaoke track, Spidey! Bummer on the static for your vocals though.
DJ - SYCMIOYO
There is good news and there is bad news.
The bad news here is that I really didn’t like this at all. This is a really tender song that Bono wrote about his father and has a long history. It's a very simple, yet emotionally driven song. I don’t like the fact that you riffed on this particular song and I don’t think it fit at all with the story. I think one of the most important aspects of singing any song is knowing what it is you are saying and having the appropriate inflection in your voice towards that. That doesn’t come across here for me at all.
It seems to me that you were just singing the song. You sang it technically well, but I felt like it was lacking emotion or the tender qualities that make it such a wonderful song. I think you started too “boldly” and really had no room to grow and build in the number.
The good news is that I think your core voting group is going to eat this up and love it.
