I just finished reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. One of the best books ever. I recommend to anybody who's looking for a good book to read. And it's a short book.

I'm reading Adverbs, by Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket). It's... pretty interesting. It's a bunch of short stories about people in love, and everybody's connected somehow. I have to keep going back and figuring out where a character first appeared!

Just finished The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing by Melissa Bank. It is essentially a collection of short stories focused on the major events (mostly romantic)in the life of a character named Jane Rosenal. A very interesting and enjoyable read.

Can I just say thank God for someone bringing this thread back? I just joined a few book trading websites and can't decide what to put on my wishlist.

I'm currently reading On the Line: The Making of A Chorus Line because I could never find the book and just got it for $4. Running With Scissors, A Farewell To Arms, and Fahrenheit 451 are the next books I'm planning on.

Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel. I'm reading it for school, and it strikes me as an odd choice, but it's an absolute breeze to get through, which is a nice change from Othello.

I just finished "An Innocent Man" by John Grisham, which was excellent.

I have now started "Cross" by James Patterson (the latest addition to the Alex Cross series). So far, so good!

I'm currently reading "Before the Parade Passes By" (Gower Champion biography by John Anthony Gilvey)

popular_elphie - Fahrenheit 451 is one of my all time favorite books. I always thought that if the world ever ended up like that world, then this was the book I would try to memorize!

Just finished "Thunderstruck" by Eric Larson, the author of "Devil in the White City." I was great - just as good as "Devil." I love the way he makes history so readable.
