I finally finished The Secret Life of Houdini, which was very good, just not exactly a quick read. I'm resuming my Anne Rice reread with The Vampire Lestat.

I just finished Brave New World...and the ending made me nauseous and at least mildly depressed for a day.

I'm pretty sure I'm reading Oliver Twist next.

Just started What's Eating Gilbert Grape by Peter Hedges. Love it so far. I really enjoyed the movie so I felt the need to read the book. It's wonderful.

I tried reading Digital Fortress by Dan Brown, but it just made me mad. I loved A&D and then The DaVinci Code. So I tried DF. However, the plot lines are exactly the same just with different themes. I was very upset. I will still try Deception Point when I get a chance.

I finished Cross by James Patterson this weekend (excellent) and have moved onto a book I bought that has 7 Jane Austen novels in it. I have started with Sense & Sensibility.

"The Mists of Avalon", by Marion Zimmer Bradley.

The movie was on TV the other night, so I just had to go to the library and pick up a copy- since if I like the movie chances are I'll like the book even more Currently Reading.

I just recently finished reading "Breakfast at Tiffany's" by Truman Capote. I thought it was great, a lot different than the movie, but a really fantastic story.

I started "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey on Sunday. So far I think it's wonderful.
There wouldn't be lights bright enough!

That is seriously one of the most powerful books ive read and I think Oprah needs to shove her opinion up... okay so great book i aggree.

I just read Go Ask Alice and its so similar to A Million Little Pieces, I recommend you read that after.

Our Musicals, Ourselves, by John Bush Jones. I think I'm in a bad position to evaluate it right now because I'm a little pissy it turned out to be not very useful for my thesis. I'm so used to works aimed at academia at this point easily comprehensible non-fiction strikes me as facile. Winter break can't come soon enough.

I've read so much for uni this term it's untrue. I don't reccomend Bleak House (Dickens) to anyone... ever! I'm currently finishing of Jekyll and Hyde and then i wanna read 'The Lost Boy' by Dave Pelzer. I read 'A Child Called it' and it was seriously one of the best books i've ever read it was so moving!

Finished Running With Scissors(very good) and On the Line: The Creation of ACL (pretty good). Currently on Middlesex by....Jeffrey Euginedes, I think. It was slow at first, but it slowly getting better.
