Gavin is not a country singer.

I'll be rooting for him. I used to see his shows every Monday in a bar in NY before he broke out.

I may actually like this season...usually it's somewhat of a chore, but the hubby loves it.

Definitely team Martina here! Also hope Gladys does well.

I hope Shepherd is the first off.

I'm neutral so far about that cast except that I hope Sherri is the first to leave. I don't want to have to look at her any more than I already do when I watch the View. NOT A FAN!

Not a fan of Sherri Shepherd either, but the rest of the cast isn't too bad. Of course there will always be a couple of unknowns.

I guess the guy from the Disney Channel show is going to learn that the same repetitive and bad dance moves are not going to fly here.

Doodlenyc, I just saw Gladys in concert last week. She looked and sounded fantastic. However, at times, she looked like she had a little difficulty walking. So I am suprised, she would participate in such a physically demanding show. But you gotta love some Gladys....LOVE OVERBOARD!!!

I'm glad that the program "Dancing with the Media Freaks" was cancelled last season LOL and they brought back 'Dancing with the Stars'. This looks like a pretty good cast.

They were really gunning for Victor Cruz as the current athlete in the competition but he, wisely, said no (he has had a history of leg problems that included him missing a whole season of action due to a bad hamstring). Donald Driver would be a good get maybe 5 years ago but he is close to retirement and is not really the name like Jason Taylor or Ocho Cinco that the show previously got with NFL players.

Rooting for Martina and Melissa.

No way Sherri gets an early elimination. She's under ABC contract and is bound to be polarizing, those two things could make her an unstoppable force no matter how she dances.

Tvline.com said Gavin DeGraw is a rock singer, which is not technically right either. Closer than country though, I guess. Sherri Shepherd will probably end up like Nancy Grace, if she isn't good.
