To be fair, there has been a call for every video and picture and I don't think it's a bad idea for people to look at what they have, photographically.
And I agree with that. They should certainly send anything they feel may be suspicious to the authorities.
That being said I think it's irresponsible to just post them on the internet as "fact". It's not fair to the guy pictured if all he did was carry a black bookbag and switch positions.
A bomb threat was called into the Federal Courthouse and it has been evacuated. Rumor was that the suspect would have been brought here shortly.

The media rushed to the Moakley Court House on the earlier rumor that a suspect was in custody, because that is where such a suspect would be brought. The crowds grew. This built for about an hour. The cameras stayed trained on the building. And now they have called a Code Red and completely evacuated the Court House and brought in bomb sniffing dogs. All of this televised. It really is a snake eating its own tail. It's also unnerving.
Yes, I'm pretty sick to my stomach watching.
Boston.com has started a victim list:

Funny how HuffPo is now reporting how the media blew it with their premature reports of an arrest. That came a few minutes after I received a text FROM HUFFPO telling me that an arrest had been made.

They need to remember the Mike Brady finger pointing rule.
All reports here (in Boston) is that arrest is still imminent. They were (supposedly) preparing a court room when the bomb threat came in.
The all clear has just been given at the courthouse, designating no threat to the building.
Apparently there was no bomb threat. They just wanted to get rid of the 1000+ reporters.
That is not being reported here.
Source telling me that Fed Courthouse evacuated b/c of my brethren in the media. We apparently created a false alarm.

The cycle was something like: they reported in error that a suspect was going to be brought into the courthouse, then there was a code red inside the courthouse, then there was a whole lot of reporting on the reporting of the error, then there was a lot of sadness on the part of reporters that a press conference was cancelled.
Meanwhile, I have read that some of the people who live in the Back Bay crime scene area would like to go back and feed their cats, get their medicine, or maybe even a change of clothes.
Now everyone is focussing on the fact that kicked off the afternoon: that there is a picture from video at Lord & Taylor that shows somebody who may be dropping a bag with the second bomb on Boylston Street And we're right back where the story started, because it was that suspect who everybody originally reported was the person about to be brought in.

I thought I should post this here. It is tonight's national anthem from the Boston Bruins game.

The interfaith service is happening in the cathedral in the South End of Boston right now. Mayor Tom Menino has given a particularly moving speech.
This is the problem with "armchair sleuthing". Poor kid has probably had a Hell of a week.
Teen: I Am Not the Boston Marathon Bomber
Well, the 2 suspect pix are out.
Interesting.

The Post published a picture of two young men in the crowd, circled their faces in red and announced that they were under suspicion. Last night the police interrogated them and cleared them, but the damage is done. Anything for a buck.
The Post is like Fox News. They still claim 12 people were killed during the Bombing at the Boston Marathon.Even though they have been proven wrong, they STILL STAND BY THEIR STORY! I heard several editorials in the Post are the same as Alex Jones 'False Flag' Conspiracy theory. Insane morons and the Post welcomes this kind of dishonesty.
Anyone who gets their news from The New York Post is a F&*%$#@! Idiot.

I guess forget getting a good night's sleep this week. An MIT police officer was shot at 10:30 pm Thursday night and he has since died. Helicopters. Lockdowns. T being searched.
But it seems to be robbery related and not some strange outgrowth of the bombing.
Right?
