I just watched the pilot for 2 Broke Girls. I actually enjoyed it, which probably means it sucks. But, I guess I will record it to see where it goes.
I really liked Two Broke Girls and wished I watched it last night over The Playboy Club- and I say this as somebody who has not watched a 3-camera sitcom consistently in years, thought the joke about Coldplay as a hipster band was terrible and aimed at Middle America, and thought Kat Dennings was the worst thing about Thor. That said, she seems good on this. Hopefully the writing starts to feel a lot closer to a NY show than 'takes place in NY but likely shot on an LA set written by people with an idea about NY'. There are a lot of Brooklyn jokes to make, hopefully they use the clever ones.
Playboy Club
I have to say i really enjoyed it, yes it was very soapy but thats what i liked about it, a bit trashy and campy. The cast did a great job with Laura stealing the first episode.
Besides the gay sub plot (which i thought showed promise at the end) the only connection i saw with Mad Men was the decade. I think the comparisons are silly and i fell sorry for Pan Am that's probably get the same thing as well.
It's such a shame that this was not given more of a chance by the American public, sadly i think the silly right wing slamming the show before thay had even seen it didnt help (the reasons they slammed it turned out to be completley unjustified). I hope it can see some kind of increse in the ratings and people will give it a shot.
Two Broke Girls
This was fun if not obvious, im stunned by the ratings but im guessing they will drop down a bit next week. Loved the 2 leads in the show i just wish more people would have looked at something like The Playboy Club live and DVRd this.
oh and side note, Ashton was great on 2 and a half men
2 Broke Girls - not bad. Some funny parts, worth some more watching.
Playboy Club - I actually didn't mind it. True, the pilot was a bit all over but I think they can flesh it out in time. I'll give it a few more tries.
Two and a half men - I generally only watch in repeats but wanted to catch this one. Funny, but not invested as I wont watch again.
Glee - oh my dear show. My love affair is over. I'll keep watching it for a few reasons but I'm done with any hope. The premiere was a disaster. Rachel BUTCHERED the beginning of You Cant Stop the Beat and I just cannot take another season of her face while singing. Or her "crying".
The New Girl - I enjoyed the pilot (the singing at the end did crack me up a lot) but just based on one episode I cant see all the media buzz. I'll keep the season pass as this could turn into something.
1 hour Modern Family tonight!!!!!!!! :)
Had New Girl on. I like her but wasn't crazy about Damon Wayans. (I honestly didn't even know that was him until I just looked it up) The singing at the end was pretty fun though. And the scene where she scored a date with the guy at the bar was funny.
Dont worry, Damon Wayans, Jr. was replaced when his other show was picked up for another season.
I thought the show was just okay when I saw it on a flight 2 weeks ago.
I actually did like Glee. In my opinion, it was a much better premiere than last season. That said, I didn't really like You Can't Stop the Beat. But, there are usually a bunch of songs I dislike each season. I hate that that had to be one.
I had seen the pilot for New Girl before last night, so I didn't watch it again. I think I have to see a few more episodes of that to decide if I really like it or not.

Glee - other than Quinn's new (hot) look, Glee sucked. Remember last season all that preaching from Baline about how he was accepted at the private school. Then he turns around and goes to public school? Did anyone else think the girls that Quinn was hanging with looked like the stand-ins for the other actresses on the show?
New Girl - It's going to have to get better. It wasn't that funny.
Raising Hope - Didn't disappoint. Hoping for another great season. Did anyone record this show? In the opening credits, it looked like they said "Introducing Cloris Leachman" Did I read that correctly? LOL. As always Cloris, Martha, Brad, Garret and Shannon really work well together and make this show a success.
^ Why do you even bother watching Glee? If you hate it so much, watch something else. It's hilarious that you have nothing good to say about the show ever, but watch it anyway.
I'm pretty sure Goth's TV is only tuned to Fox. He can't help it.
Tonight's a full night!
I'm still a SURVIVOR viewer, so will have that recorded.
MODERN FAMILY is an hour, followed by REVENGE, which I'm looking forward to.
X-FACTOR will debut on FOX. I'm not sure I want to watch the competition, but I'll tune in tonight for the premiere.
I actually thought this premiere of Glee caught more of the first 13 episodes, that a lot of fans hold with such reverence, than about 75% of last season and definitely way better than 'Audition' (spoken as somebody who loved the Quinn and Santana catfight). Maybe I am just a sucker for somebody not named Kurt and Rachel doing showtunes (Yeah, Lindsay!). I liked it and thought it was more a marker of what the characters want and what are their conflicts in future episodes and **hopefully** the writers don't have amnesia after this (judging by the spoilers in future episodes, they did not). I also agree with the sentiment on YCSTB. I never want that song to begin like that ever again.
New Girl wasn't bad, wasn't great. I actually liked Damon Wayans Jr. and am curious how his replacement will do (and I kinda want the show to break the fourth wall on the fact it is a different actor).
Raising Hope's episode started off good muddled in the middle but brought me back in at the end.

I rewatched the New Girl pilot last night and found it more enjoyable than I did when I watched it on iTunes. Maybe originally I was expecting something different? I dunno.
Is the new guy playing the same role as Damon Wayans Jr? I thought he was playing a new character.
2 Broke Girls was pretty decent, weird Asian stereotype character notwithstanding. And Garrett Morris seems to serve no real purpose on it.

Guess we have to find out. It happens on a lot of shows but a lot of people will be annoyed at how not alike the two actors looked for them to be the same character.
there is so much TV on tonight! I watched the first episode of The X-Factor and find it infinitely more watchable than American Idol at the auditions stage. Some really amazing talent too!

Those people need more to think about then. Even if they are playing the exact same character (which I don't think they are), there's been a a single episode.
Waynes replacment is not playing the same role.
Unforgettable, yikes, what is it with CBS and cop dramas, find something new already, it was the feamle version of The Mentalist, only without any fun or good storyline.
I thought Glee was fun but they are fast running out of ideas for Sue.
Ringer episode 2 was great. The show has a real Hitchcock feel to it in themes and style, something i think they are doing a great job with and SMG is playing it well. That however is why the show will fail, it should not be on the CW at all, it's far better and much more grown up than that network.
LOVED Raising Hope, amazing episode, glad Body of Proof is back.
I'm still pulling for The Playboy Club as i think its one of the more daring things to come out of this season so far.
Will be good to see how well Revenge does in the ratings (i really liked it)
Only saw the first half of The Playboy Club, have to finish the rest tonight. From what I saw I thought it was okay.
Thoroughly enjoyed the X-Factor last night! DVRed The Middle and Modern Family.
I really liked Revenge. Looking forward to seeing more episodes.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
I wasnt home last night so I have a lot to catch up from yesterday and the Ringer epi from Tues.
But most importantly - COMMUNITY IS BACK TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone watch!!! This show deserves a much higher viewership!
I acTually really loved Glee. It reminded me of the first season, when it was good and funny and clever. And although I didn't like the arrangement of YCSTB in audio, in context it worked.
Also very excited for Fringe tomorrow! I have never seen a finale like last year's! And looking forward to The Good Wife on Sunday- especially after those last few (gorgeously scored) minutes of the finale
"But most importantly - COMMUNITY IS BACK TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! Plus John Goodman is guest-starring and Michael K. Williams aka Omar from The Wire is going to be a guest at some point too.
This show is not afraid to explore what it can do and needs to be more appreciated but since the Emmys have turned a blind eye, its very small fanbase should at least grow a little bit.
Community - Glad to have my study group back. Joel McHale looks sexy even when covered in Monkey gas.
Revenge - lovin it so far. She annoys me, just tries too hard to look sinister. But otherwise lovin it! Hope my dear Eric Van der Woodsen gets more to work with here than on GG.
Criminal Minds - They handled Prentiss's return well, though I think it went back to happy a little too soon, but that's TV. Now back to freak of the week.
TVD - I know it premiered last week, but this week totally kicked last week's episode!!! I love this show so much.
Person of Interest & Prime Suspect TiVo'd for watching this weekend.
And my other guilty pleasure comes on today - Supernatural. Can't believe we have actually made it to Season 7 after laugable Season 5 & 6 but I'll watch the boys read a phone book so....
Charlie's Angels was terrible. The writing is so bad. I have a feeling it will be on the chopping block if it doesn't improve. Which is too bad because I love Minka Kelly.
Yeah, Charlie's Angels was bad. I only watched it because I was waiting for Grey's Anatomy to come on. That was good though. It had just the right amount of drama and comedy mixed in. Everyone seemed to have gotten equal screentime. And I just love Callie, Arizona, and Mark's daughter, Sofia.
