I'm a TV junkie - so figured I'd start a thread about all the new shows starting or returning.
What are you most excited about?
What are your thoughts after shows air? etc.
This week:
Tonight is 90210 (returning), Ringer (premiere) and Parenthood (returning) as well as Sons of Anarchy which returned last week (!!!!!!)
Weds 9/14 - Survivor: South Pacific (new/return), H8R (premiere), Americas Next Top Model (return), Up All Night (premiere) and Free Agents (premiere)
Thurs 9/15 - The Vampire Diaries (return), The Secret Circle (premiere), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (return) and Archer (return)
I'm really looking forward to New Girl. And I can't wait for Robert California on The Office. I loved Spader on the last episode. Of course Sunny on Thursday! YES!
Thursday is packed for me. Best night of tv :)
Can't WAIT for The Good Wife, which is moving to Sundays. Also looking forward to Parenthood tonight. Hawaii Five-O, Modern Family and The Middle are faves, too.
I'm curious about Revenge. Up All Night looks like a fun one.

Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
I'm excited about Sarah Michelle Gellar's return to TV in "Ringer." Will definitely be watching tonight.
I'll probably have an interest in others, but I haven't completely gone over the TV Guide.

It's sad that I actually had to do serious thinking with all the new shows... tivo only records 2 at a time.
I like to record the first couple of mostly every show at first that I find interest in, but then most end up getting their season pass cancelled.
Mondays - Gossip Girl, Heart of Dixie, The Playboy Club and Terra Nova.
Tuesdays - 90210 (though that even as a guilty pleasure is possibly getting the boot), Ringer, Glee, New Girl, and SOA .
Weds - Up All Night, Free Agents, Criminal Minds, Modern Family, Suburgatory, Revenge
Thurs - TVD, Secret Circle, Community, Person if Interest, Prime Suspect
Fri - A Gifted Man, Nikita, Supernatural
Sun - Pan Am (I want to start watching The Good Wife, but want to catch up on the seasons before diving in).
*Bold ones are the ones I am actually looking forward to! (yes i know *gasp* Glee is not bold. I will keep watching it but they have to do some redepmtion from last season for me)

I watched the pilot of "New Girl" on iTunes last night and thought it was pretty mediocre. I'll give it a couple of episodes before I make a firm judgement, though.
And don't feel bad. I have a dvr that just records one channel at a time, so I had to make a CHART to figure out what I was recording and what I was going to catch online.
Can't say I'm excited over any new show. Returning series? Perhaps, Leverage.
Yeah, my DVR only records two at a time, too. I ALMOST made a chart. I'm going to have an issue on Wednesdays, because the X Factor is thrown in the mix, with Modern Family and The Middle.

re: New Girl - I am actually only really excited to see it becasue it has Deputy Leo from Veronica Mars on it, lol. Zooey is cute and all but the schtick gets annoying after a while.
Loving SOA and super excited about Parenthood coming back.
I am not looking forward to Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice. Audra is gone. What's the point?
I am mad that V got cancelled. It was a train wreck, but it was my train wreck.
I really only watched the first season of The Good Wife. I should have stuck with it.
The new shows I'll watch (at least a few shows) are New Girl, X-Factor, Revenge and Pan Am. I'm looking forward to the returns of Modern Family, Castle, Survivor and Amazing Race.
Cougar Town (Or whatever they may change the name to), The Amazing Race and The Middle are the 3 I can't wait for. Cougar Town the most. I think it is the best comedy on tv.
I thought Cougartown got pushed to mid-season?
Sundays: Breaking Bad then switch to The Walking Dead. I will watch the Pan-Am pilot out of curiosity because the espionage sub-plot sounds both intriguing and cheesy at the same time.
Mondays: The Playboy Club will also get a pilot watch through. Though I hate Eddie Cibrian, I do like Amber Heard and I am curious about Laura Benanti's role. Also supporting Terra Nova due to a FOAF working on it. So far from what I've read do not presume it will be an inside baseball take on working there. Hugh Hefner is narrating the pilot.
Wednesdays- Up All Night, Modern Family, SVU and Suburgatory.
Tuesdays- Ringer gets its shot. Glee (even though I feel like I know what is going to happen in all of the episodes thanks to episode spoilers via twitter/tumblr/message boards), Raising Hope, and Parenthood.
Thursdays are going to be terrible. Community, Parks & Rec, The Vampire Diaries, Sunny, Archer, and the new shows Secret Circle, Prime Suspect, and Person of Interest. It is going to cause me to do a lot of catching up through my computer. Archer following Sunny even for 3 weeks is going to great.
Friday- Fringe. Hell, I may even give Whitney Cummings' show a shot.

I'm sort of interested in Once Upon A Time, when it airs in October. I'll watch my regulars of Grey's Anatomy (mostly for Sara Ramirez), Dancing with the Stars, and Glee. I might check out New Girl and Up All Night. Wednesdays tend to be light nights for me, since Pushing Daisies got cancelled.
When does Glee start back?
Seen the first episode of Revenge and its very 90s thriller, bitchy, Gossip Girl meets Cruel Intentions meets Melrose Place, i thought it was fun.
The first episode of the New Girl is also very funny.
Im looking forward to Pan Am, The Playboy Club, The Ringer, Alcatraz and I Hate My Teenage Daughter.
Returning shows i cant wait to see back are The Middle, The Good Wife, Desperate Housewives, Castle, Body of Proof, Modern Family and a couple of others
Glee comes back next Tuesday at 8pm.
I Hate My Teenage Daughter got pushed to late November and Alcatraz will also premiere mid-season (like other new ones that got good reviews, Awake and Smash).
I'm kinda iffy on Grimm. It hasn't "hooked" me but I'm willing to check out an episode
I will concur regarding the mediocrity of The New Girl. I caught the premier episode On Demand, and it didn't live up to the commercials.

I'm so glad someone else feels that way. I really wanted to like it, but it was so... empty? Like not bad, not good, not funny, not offensive. It was just 20ish minutes of ... something.
I'm looking forward to the returns of It's Always Sunny, Community, Parks and Rec, Modern Family, Fringe, Raising Hope and The Good Wife (and 30 Rock in January). I cut How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives and Grey's loose last year, but I reserve the right to go back to them, although I have no desire to see another minute of any of them.
As for new shows - I'm going to give Ringer a chance. And I've been looking forward to Terra Nova for however many years it has been announced now, so I'm fully expecting it to suck. I'll give Playboy a look, even though it pains me as a feminist to do so. Please don't tell Gloria Steinem. Laura Benanti was really good the other night on The Big C, so I expect she'll be good in this, but it just looks dreadful. There are a few others I'm planning to give a shot, and I do hope that there's at least ONE new show this year that I'll be looking forward to seeing.
Oh, and I'm looking forward to Saturday Night Live coming back. Haters gonna hate, but it still makes me laugh every week. And the first two hosts are Alec Baldwin and Melissa McCarthy, which should be enough for ANYONE, in my opinion.
Ringer was interesting enough to make me want to see what happens. But at the cost of Raising Hope?
Ringer was..... ok. I think there were too many things going on in the pilot. It felt rushed and no story line was getting me interested. I'll keep watching but I dunno. Maybe it is because although this is more adult but with the Lying Game coming out on ABC Family first the premise isnt as shocking as I guess it was supposed to be.
I liked Ringer. It wasn't perfect but I think it will get better. I agree that it was rushed but that seems to be the case with every pilot these days that is suspense driven. Gone are the days of the two hour pilot episodes.
