"I loved Once and Again. The characters had depth and developed in a logical way, and there were neither obvious heroes nor villains to root for or against. I also respected that the main focus was on the adult relationships, bucking the usual trend to refocus on the teenage characters when the actors playing them rise in popularity with the teenybopper set.
It ended too soon. "
Well said. I think it was badly served by being initially sold as the tv version of a chick flick with that opening theme that seemed a bit like a tampon commercial. While the male characters split the focus and were very well portrayed, I think many men would have just turned it off before giving it a chance. I also loved the thirtysomething connection with Miles. Still can't believe the third season isn't on DVD--it did end too soon, and ABC never treated it well, constantly shuffling it around the schedule (then again they teated all four Herskowvitz/Zwick shows poorly with the possible exception of thirtysomething which was a sort of success d'estime for them.)
Spenser For Hire. Criminal that it's not on DVD. The Equalizer as well. They did the first season but not 2 and 3. Either commit to do them all or do none, period.
The last 2 seasons of both the muppet show and MAD ABOUT YOU! Also, I would KILL for the JULIE ANDREWS HOUR to be released on DVD. Would be a great addition to my shelf with Carol Burnett and Judy Garland! The youtube clips are amazing.

I'm with you Facts of Life people. What's up with that? I would also like to see Just the Ten of Us and Best of the West as well. And I'll add Phyllis to the list.

"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
I'll Fly Away--wonderful drama from the mid-nineties starring Sam Waterston (right before he joined Law and Order) and Regina Taylor.
I'd like to see the final season of Once & Again finally released on DVD, but at this point, I won't hold my breath.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

I know it is on DVD already, but I wish someone could get the rights to all the music from A Muppet Family Christmas. That special I will not watch edited the way it is now. I guess I find it frustrating because how many people have recorded these songs for albums or are included in a lot of movies?

All those fun ones from the good old days: Our Miss Brooks, The Ann Sothern Show, Oh, Susannah!, December Bride, Trouble With Father, The People's Choice, and the lesser-known How to Marry a Millionaire, Bringing Up Buddy, The Tom Ewell Show, The Cara Williams Show, The Tammy Grimes Show.... so many others. Happy memories, all.
After eight-Netflix did have Our Miss Brooks for streaming briefly. I had it on my list, but it's gone now. Weird.

Yes!! What's the hold up with releasing that? It has an excellent cast: Chi McBride, Michael Rapaport, Loretta Devine, Anthony Heald, Fyvush Finkel
