Well, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there's a possibility here that Foley's actions aren't new. Chances are, he succeeded somewhere, possibly more than once.

On Scarborough Country (MSNBC) Joe S just showed an interview he did with Foley about the Dateline "To Catch A Predator" series. You can't make this stuff up. Joe said that he now knows that Foley did that interview while he was sending IM's to kids. He goes on to say that the Republicans are going to take a beating at the polls next month.

As entertaining as it is to see Republican homophobia bite them in the ass when this kind of situation occurs, it seems like the story has pretty much run it's course, at least at this point. There's other instances of corruption and problems to focus on that are more important. I guess this kind of stuff is just more compelling to people than stuff about things like habeas corpus, torture, and Iraq, though.

Funny how some think the story has run it's course. I had to laugh at that one. It's not even close to having run it's course. These people are going down and I, for one, can't wait. It's like when Jimmy Swaggart got caught with the hooker. Talk about poetic justice. “Would have, could have, should have,” Mr. Hastert said, responding to questions about whether Republicans should have done more....
