Yay, Sarah!
Why oh why do I have "My New Philosophy" stuck in my head?
There's an enormous bug flying around in here.
Yay Sarah! Congrats! Have tons of fun.
I'm high on pain meds and I'm leaving in 20 minutes for a party with my extended family. Weeeee

My parents left for a cruise on Sunday. They flew to London and then to Greece. Obviously it was right after the terrorism thing so the airports were a bit crazy. They didn't get their luggage. My mom emailed and they received one piece of luggage today. It was flown to the place they were at. It doesn't look like they will be getting the rest of it- it's a 14 day cruise.
2 years ago, 5 of us (my parents, brother, myself and aunt), didn't receive our luggage when we went on our cruise. On the 8th day (of 10 day cruise), we received it. We barely even unpacked it.
The cruise ship gave them the necessities but they are basically wearing the same clothes everyday (and the ship is giving them free use of the washing machine).

I am doing absolutely nothing tonight. Pretty sad, huh?
Thanks guys. I'm really excited for it. I went in to sign all the paper work today and the director gave me a hug and told me she was excited that I was going to be working there.

I ordered a hamburger from Bennigan's to take out. I specifically asked for well-done. She even repeated the order and said well-done also.
I picked it up and I swear, the meat could not have been cooked more than 3 minutes.
I wonder how they make it when the person doesn't say well-done...
I've been watching old The Twilight Zone episodes for the last couple of hours....

The firework/crackers are WAY TO CLOSE for comfort.
When I lived in Denison, I used to sit on my roof and watch the fireworks from the football stadium.
It was so much fun, and free!
Gee, too bad SweetQ's racist lesson on ebonics was deleted. It's a good thing I'm familiar with her manipulative shtick and saved the thread.

skittles, I didn't ask for the thread to be deleted. There must have been some inappropriate content posted that warranted deletion.
And just out of curiosity, why exactly did you save thread? Is your life that boring that you will go back and read it sometime?
"There must have been some inappropriate content posted that warranted deletion."
Yeah, your original post.
I saved the thread because you have more than proven in the past that any time you say something incredibly offensive and everyone calls you on it, you rush to the mods to have it deleted (or cry suicide). Instead of owning up to it, you do everything within your power to cowardly hide them and pretend it never happened. After all, if someone can't link to the thread where RaggyPooQ says everyone should speak "American", that means everyone will forget about it and you can feign innocence to all the posters that didn't see it, right? Saving it means your racist tendencies (not the "edited for content" version of yourself that remains on the boards) will be passed on to all the posters that deserve to see your true feelings.

Sorry, it was not my original post that warranted the deletion. It was deleted more than 12 hours after I first posted it. I had just come home 30 minutes ago to find the thread deleted. I'm sure something was posted in that time I was gone for 12 hours that the mods decided was not suitable or appropriate.
If you found the post to be offensive, I'm sorry. I, as well as many others found it to be amusing.
Who were these "others"? Some didn't find it offensive, but I recall only one other person who posted finding it funny.
I, as well as many others found it to be amusing.
So you, as well as these unnamed "many others" that mysteriously didn't post in the thread, are racist.
And nope, I read the thread until the end. There was nothing posted that was anywhere near as inappropriate as your first post.
Why is Facebook so slow tonight?
I'm listening to Stevie Nicks for the first time in a long while. I forgot how much I love her voice.
I have a job interview tomorrow for the new movie theater in the mall. I hope I get it, cause I'm broke.

It's 111 degrees here. And I just spent the last 6 hours bagging and loading peoples groceries in their cars. In black pants. And a black apron.
No work for 5 days though
I think my mother has a serious comprehension problem. Why on earth does her IQ seem to drop substantially when she uses AIM?

I just got an email that made me EXTREMELY happy.
Some guy I know keeps text messaging me to ask what I'm doing. It's getting really annoying.
I can't wait for tomorrow.
