I just got back from a weekend in New Jersey (Six Flags) and I'm exhausted.
Blech. I have a cold.

Whoa. I guess a ton of posts got deleted since the last post is from 8/12/07.
20 minutes I had 3 papers stapled together (science review). I just went to put it near my bag because I am going to Starbucks to study with some people but I now can only find one of those papers. How could the other 2 that were stapled to it just....disappear?
I have the review on email but since comcast mail has been acting up, I can't retrieve it. I guess I'll call my friend and ask her to print out an extra one.

I have a terrible headache and I need to go to party city now. Damn.

It went really well, and they were really surprised. But I don't think I'll be planning another party without my mother for a very long time.
Why have I not started my bio paper??
Mmmm, nutella. That is good stuff.
I'm watching an old episode of SYTYCD, and they did "You Can't Stop the Beat." It was cute.
Today is my little brother's 10th birthday.... I feel old.

Heh, that was what I said when my litle brother had his birthday in August.
I can't believe I've been on BWW for three years (and just noticied it now).

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY do not want to take this SS midterm tomorrow.
These people's names are all confusing me and the dates are just being blurred together at this point.
I'm cold and my window won't close. Super.

Yesterday I saw someone I knew from my class last semester and we were talking (about birthright). She couldn't talk long because she had a doctors appointment- she hasn't been feeling well and has been running a temperature.
Today I found out that she may have MRSA. They are still not sure but are testing her. She works at an elementary school where a student was recently diagnosed with it.
______________
On another note, I got a call from my tutoring program yesterday that there was a meeting at 5:00. It was important that I atetnd but as I usually don't attend meetings, I didn't go.
Apparently a student hasn't come for tutoring for a couple days so they went into his apartment and found him. Dead. Apparently of natural causes. How a 22 year old student died from natural causes, I'll never know. His parents are flying in from Venezuala and he is having an autopsy today.
I had a really bad day yesterday and today, mostly with this one class where I have to lead a group. One of the members doesn't understand the importance of the deadlines. She was supposed to have these sketches ready by Monday (and I'm sure I made it clear in an email). Then she tells me on Monday she doesn't have them because she didn't know she was supposed to do them. Then today she claimed that they had been ready, but she didn't show me because her supervisors told her to take time on working on more sketches.
She even had the nerve to tell me to "please not stand over their shoulder and to give them space" when I was watching them work. Keep in mind that this was part of my job. I was "over their shoulders" for no more than 10-15 minutes. As a result, I left the room in a huff (bad on my part, I know) and went to find one of the supervisors to talk to (it is a student run business, so the leaders of groups are always running around the building). We settled things out today, but I still feel like some of the things she said were absolutely wrong and exaggerated (for example, when I asked her "Okay, was I over your shoulder for 2 hours?" she said "Yes."), and I am feeling unhappy and like some failure. I am going to talk to the dean of the college later this week so hopefully I can get some advice. I am sorry this sounds confusing. I am still confused myself. It sucks when one member of the team can throw the whole team off balance. Grr.
Millie. I'm sorry.
I'm nervous to lead discussion in lit tomorrow. I've never been so challenged by an English class before.
I'm moving to downtown Ithaca next semester!!! Man, I am so excited. I HATE being stuck in a town where the only things within walking distance are a farm and a drugstore.
I just have to keep reminding myself, "you can move in December".

And I think I'm going to see Sweeney Todd tonight.
I just booked my session for my grad photos.

I've been so stressed and the left side of my neck is killing me. It's shooting down my back and making my head hurt. I can't get the spasm to break; I've tried heating pad, ice pack and motrin. arg
Lemony Snicket did a reading!!!
I'm about to go bungee jumping. I'm terrified but excited!
I bought a bunch of movies on boxing day, kinda want to watch one tonight, not sure which. Anyone ever see Torn Curtain? Julie Andrews & Hitchcock seems like an odd combo that could be cool....its either torn curtain or the tigger movie.
