Posted: 2/15/07 at 8:44pmI had a really crappy day today. The teacher I work with as my "mentor" is making me rethink my decision to be a teacher. Nothing I do is good enough for her and today she insulted my professionalism and dedication to my career. I work from 7-5 with no pay (plus paying tuition to do this) and she treats me like slave labor. I come home in almost tears. If I wasn't so close to graduation and if I didn't love the kids I worked with I would say screw it. I need a flippin' drink!

Posted: 2/15/07 at 8:53pmI had such a good day until about 5 minutes ago. While getting a phone call with not so good news, I slipped on ice and fell down a stone staircase. There are scratches and cuts all down my back and a rip in my coat. Ouch!

Posted: 2/15/07 at 9:10pmI just spent a few hours babysitting a group of Spanish-speaking kids with two of my friends. My one friend who speaks Spanish was amazed when one of the girls came tot ell me something and I understood her. Apparently she thought I would forget Spanish by now.

Because I am going out of town tomorrow and I really wanted the Company CD before I left, but it never came. Which means I won't be able to hear it until Tuesday/Wednesday of next week.

This day is going by so. slow. I have had 2 delayed openings and the school cuts our classes down to about 30 minutes each, but now it's back to 43/45 minutes.

I need to do Spanish work. My teacher said, "You probably won't know 60% of the words on this page, but do it anyway. And...have a good weekend!" That's a very nice way to end the day.
