"Unaccepting" is a word, right?
MY MSWord doesn't think so, and neither does www.dictionary.com.
One can be unapologetic, but not unaccepting?
Here's what I'm writing (it's for a screenplay treatment):
"MY NAME IS O.J.L. is a touching drama concerning a homosexual teenager and his unaccepting mother."
That makes sense, right? Or am I making stuff up?
UGH! just UGH! im so sick of stupid childish drama! why cant people just grow up!
A group of seniors from my school cleaned up and painted an old abandoned house today. I've never had to clean up so many leave sin my life. We found a newspaper from 1987.

Because that would make things too calm. That would be called "mature," and that's, "too cool for school"
Hope things get better!
I'm keeping "unaccepted" in the treatment.
I don't care what www.dictionary.com says.
It's a word!
My stepdad had to do something in one of the buildings in downtown Denison, TX. He found a newspaper from 1920 something.
Wow.
It is SO warm here right now.

Maybe "non-accepted" is the proper usage?
Still working. A lot.
My schools version of American Idol is on friday and I was listening to some of the people who got chosen to be in it and *winces just thinking about it* In addition to the horibleness of the singers they chose about three freshman girls out of five girls who could get picked. Arg. Apparently Kevin Covais is going to be a judge. If he is I'm embarresed for what he's going to have to sit through. I'm also just a tad bitter about this because they had students pick who was going to be in the competition. Obviously they're going to want to pick their friends. There were some really talented singers who got jipped this year. Blaaaaaahhhhh.
This isn't quite banal to me, and it's quite a long post, so if you don't care, then skip. I won't be offended.
I've been working on this story (was a novel, was a screenplay, now it's something in the middle) since March. The beginning has basically been the same. Oliver's moved to Denison. He meets Derek.
But I had this epiphany earlier where the roles were switched. Oliver has lived in Denison his whole life, and Derek is the one to move.
It works so much better, but now I have to rethink my outline. I also have no idea what to do with the supporting characters (besides the mother).
One of the characters, Ron, was an old high school friend of the mother. They hadn't seen each other in a number of years until she and her son moved to Denison. But they've now never lived anywhere else. Do I make Ron move too? Or maybe they haven't kept in touch?
There are also two other characters, Beth and Michael. Beth is the nice girl who is quick to befriend the new students, welcoming them to the school and all that. Michael was her friend. But if Oliver's lived there forever, and they weren't friends before, why would they be friends just because Derek's there? I don't know.
Beth will be easier to change, but I don't want her to be a Daphne (from QAF). I also don't want Oliver to turn into Justin.
So many unanswered questions. And this is one long post. Thanks for reading :)
haha, thanks q! but we'll just say things deff didnt get better at dinner.

Is BWW running really slow this evening or is it me?
It was running slow for me. I'm convinced that they are having problems....
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I do expect SOMEONE to read my long post above.
FW, no one cares.
SM2, are you overdoing your meds?
Why do you ask? *smiles brightly*
Because you are acting like a dick.
What's your point?
I just IM yelled at my mom.
Care to elaborate, Em?
No, because it's banal.
She was making fun of me. And... she's my mom. It was a little too mean for a mom. She's just... when there are things she and I don't feel the same way about, she sort of puts me down for them. Sigh.
I'm not supposed to have coffee with my stomach problems, but I was cold so I figured a small one wouldn't hurt. The guy at Dunkin Donuts also put regular milk in it instead of soy (I'm lactose intolerant, too).
I don't think I'll be trying coffee again. My poor, poor stomach.

5 more pages due tomorrow!
I'm making cookies.
I might go to the store tomorrow and pick up some healthy snacks to bring in for rehearsal on Thursday. (That's what the cookies are for.)
