I'm so sad about this. The show went downhill after season 1, but I think it picked up again this season and has been fantastic. I'll miss it. 
ETA: I don't get why anyone would be happy about a show being cancelled, just like I don't understand why people get excited about Broadway shows closing. If you don't like it, just don't watch it. Some people did enjoy it.

I actually liked the show in the first season, and then during season two I just couldn't understand what I liked about the show. Hmm.

Aw. Like everyone's been saying, after season 1 it started going downhill, but ever since Marissa died I started liking the show again. She just pissed me off. I actually started watching every episode like I did during season 1.
I still haven't gotten over the fact that they cancelled Everwood and kept 7th Heaven.

Posted: 1/4/07 at 6:41amThat seems about right. Like others, I loved the first season. I barely saw any of the second season, and what I saw of the third season was pretty terrible. I actually own the first season on DVD and I think it's quite good...but yes it has gone way downhill since then. I can't say I'm sorry to see it go.

It is easy to be glad a show is over. It was the "omg I am a stuck up person so I think the OC is like the best freaking show ever" show. Now all of those annoying people are all upset. So yeah...I am happy about it. Anyone else see the facebook groups upset about this? Yeah it cracked me up.
I watched one episode and it was some of the worst acting I have ever seen. Good ridance.

Posted: 1/4/07 at 9:51amSeasons 1 & 2 were good, it really went downhill in season 3. I haven't watched one episode this season, although most of them are sitting on my Tivo. As much as I hated Marissa, killing her off pretty much killed the show.
